Lovely apartment , amazing location with a subway station just across from the building. The host left water bottles, coffee and crisps which was a lovely surprise. We stayed for 3 nights ,the apartment was clean and had plenty of fresh towels. Great place to stay in the city for a couple nights!

Great apartment. Well-equipped (although didn’t have the hairdryer and iron and ironing board listed), clean, and plenty of room for three adults. Location is fantastic: plenty of restaurants nearby and subway right around the corner. Loved that we could walk to the High Line, Little Island, and the Whitney. Would stay here again!
The apartment was very clean and comfortably fit 6 if us. Close to the metro, chelsea market, and starbucks reserve roastery. Hosts were very easy to contact and helpful.

We had a great stay at this 3 bedroom apartment in Chelsea! The location was perfect - within walking distance to the West Village, Meatpacking District, and tons of great restaurants, shops, and galleries.
It’s a vibrant, safe area with everything you need close by.
The apartment was compact, but well kept - neat & clean. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for a 4-day stay in the city.
The host was easily contactable whenever we had questions, which made for a great experience .
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a convenient home base in one of NYC’s best neighborhoods.

The location was great with a metro stop right around the corner. The Chelsea neighborhood is fantastic. The apartment was furnished as described. It fit our family of 6 well. Our main issue occurred when we checked into the apartment, and it had not been cleaned. Trash had not been taken out, used towels in the bathtub, beds unmade, etc. We called the host, and they had a cleaner come over, but we were essentially not able to fully access the space until around 9:30 pm. Other than that most everything was smooth.
Overall this was a great stay and I would 100% stay here again. It's pretty small but that's what I was expecting for NYC. If you are expecting to come back to the place to eat, it wouldn't work for more then 4 people max and was hard for little kids. It was close by the metro which was perfect to get places. Centrally located so great to get everywhere needed. Yummy food close by including a great bagel place two doors down. The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. We only had one key fob to enter the bottom door so that can make it hard if you have a bigger group. You can always leave the key in the lock box if needed. It's in the listing but it is on the 5th floor and the stairs are small (no elevator!) so going up and down wasn't the easiest. The place was quite so a felt a little bad with small children but we did our best to keep quite and no one seemed to mind. If you are a group of adults, it would be really nice to have some quiet after a day in NYC!
It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated, but it did the job. The highlight is that it’s in an excellent neighborhood and the subway entrance is literally downstairs steps away from the door. There were tons of great restaurants in the area. It felt very safe and if you have a car, you can park overnight on the street in front. But you really need to be there by seven or eight. Only thing that would prevent me from renting this place again is a crazy five story walk up. After a week, I still wasn’t used to climbing all of those stairs and I consider myself in shape. There or some minor issues with cleanliness. The floor appeared dirty and there was food left in the fridge. I didn’t accept their offer to have a cleaner come in because it was just an inconvenience at that point, but they did offer. Overall good stay and great Neighborhood
Absolutely amazing location and perfectly adequate space! Would certainly recommend, but if if the owner could address a few shortcomings it would go a long way. The couch shows it's age and has a hard wooden beam in the middle making it not possible to have three people sit on it at a time. One of the table chairs was broken but usable. And the shower curtain is too short so the bathroom floor gets wet. But the kitchen is well appointed and modern, and overall it worked great for us. Communication was great, and upon request they even got us a pack-and-play for our toddler ahead of time which was great! Unfortunately one of the keys didn't work and they couldn't replace during our stay so we had to manage as a large group with just one key, but it worked out fine. Overall would certainly recommend the space, but would be great if the small shortcomings could be addressed.

Great location, not great communication
Good location near Chelsea Market, Highline, restaurants and subway. Communication was not consistent. There was a Keurig machine but no K cups. There was ground Cafe Bustelo but no way to brew it. When I texted this was told someone would bring K cups, but no one came. Later texted (twice) about leaving luggage a couple extra hours, as previously discussed with owner before booking, but no response until after decision time.Kitchenware, furniture, TVs appeared to be quite new - some things were still in packaging or like the TVs weren't fully unwrapped. There are beds for 6 people, but only seating for 4 - 2 on sofa and 2 on stools. Don't plan to spend visiting/eating time in the room if you're more than 4.Also, really pay attention to accessibility. It didn't click with me that 36 steps meant 5th floor walkup. Not optimal with luggage or after long days of exploring. Would have added a photo of the intimidating staircase but couldn't get it to upload.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and appreciated the proximity to Chelsea Market, the High Line, restaurants, and public transit, as well as the new furnishings and kitchenware in the unit.
We sincerely apologize for the communication gaps you experienced during your stay. While we strive to respond promptly to all guest inquiries, it’s clear we fell short in a few key areas, including the delivery of K-cups and the delayed response regarding luggage storage. We understand how frustrating that can be, and we are reviewing internal procedures to ensure better consistency moving forward.
Regarding the coffee setup, we appreciate the note. We'll be more mindful about making sure there is both a proper brewing method available and supplies for whichever machine is provided.
As for the seating and layout, we value your input. While the space is set up to accommodate six guests for sleeping, we understand that the communal seating may feel limited for larger groups but there is 6 seatings in the living room and dining area. We'll take a few adjustments into consideration.
Lastly, we’re sorry to hear that the stairs came as a surprise. The fifth-floor walk-up is clearly listed in the property description, but we understand that it’s easy to overlook in planning. We’ll look at ways to make this information more prominent for future guests.
We truly appreciate your constructive comments and will use them to continue improving. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to host you more seamlessly in the future.
Warm regards,
My experience with Gothamm Property Rental Management was unsatisfactory. The property was not ready for a listing, the mattresses were poor quality with springs bulging out once you sat on the bed. The TV's were new and never programed, the floor were filthy and dust was on the floor and collected on the corners of the room. The AcC emitted a mold odor. The stairs were impossible to manage as I had 2 senior citizens family members. I addressed my concerns with Gotham Property Rentalamd my concerns were disregarded and not resolved. I askedif someone from the property management team would be able to assist me to bring my luggage down upone vacating the property and was told they don't do that when in fact the brought my luggage up the 5 level walk. I vacated the property after 2 days of the Gotham property not honoring the advertisement. Property was misrepresented. I had to book a hotel for the 2 nights of my booking before deciding to vacant the property due to lack of integrity in making the necessary adjustments and having an unacceptable and traumatic experience with Gotham Property Rental Management. I missed the bridal grown fitting for my niece who traveled to NY from the Bahamas due to a visit from Alex who was sent over to verify the identied issues that were never resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we must respectfully clarify a few important points.
The property was professionally cleaned and fully prepared prior to your arrival, with all amenities—including the TVs and air conditioning—confirmed to be in proper working condition. There were no reports of mold odors or cleanliness issues prior to or after your stay, and the unit’s walk-up layout, including stairs, is clearly disclosed in the listing description.
Shortly after checking in, you informed us that you had found an alternative place to stay with a family member and requested to cancel the rest of your reservation for a full refund. We kindly explained that our cancellation policy does not allow for refunds in such cases once the stay has begun.
We did our best to respond to your concerns, including sending a team member to the property to follow up. While we regret that your trip did not go as planned, we believe the listing accurately represents the property and that we upheld our responsibilities as hosts.
We wish you the best and appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
