Other things to note
Just a few things to keep in mind during your stay:
-There are horses, goats, and a few other animals living on the ranch — they're part of the place, but not part of the rental.
You’re more than welcome to watch them from a safe distance, but for everyone’s safety (theirs and yours), we ask that guests don’t touch, feed, ride, or handle them.
-The house runs on well water & septic system, which is great for showers and daily use - NOT for cooking. For drinking & cooking, we’ll have fresh, potable water ready for you — and you’ll always have access to what you need during your stay.
-To get to the house, you’ll drive slowly through the ranch and over a small bridge. Don’t worry — we’ll send you clear directions before you arrive.
-We’re out in nature, so bugs and pests are part of the experience. While they don’t usually live inside the house, they can sneak in if a door or window is left open — so we recommend keeping everything closed to avoid any uninvited guests.
-Outside, feel free to explore — just do so with care. The terrain includes hills, rocks, trees, and uneven spots. It’s also home to some of nature’s residents like snakes, spiders, deer, and coyotes; including our animals. So please be cautious, especially if you’re walking around.
-We can’t control the weather or wildlife, so extra care is always a good idea. Kids should be supervised at all times while on the property.
-We kindly ask that you please don’t flush toilet paper. Instead, use the waste bin provided in the bathroom.
