This property is located in a lovely neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach. This is the only good thing I have to say.When we arrived, we found that the owner had started on a major renovation project without letting anyone know. From what I understand, this listing was managed by a property management company, a realtor (Ann O'Brien realty) and the owner. Somehow no one toured the house, made sure that it was rentable, or spoke to each other. We found that two of the 4 bathrooms were stripped out- no fixtures. Of the two full bathrooms that were intact, one had no shower rod or curtain, or anywhere to hang towelsThere were paint containers under the bed in one of the rooms. Blinds were broken and in poor condition.Interior paint was half finished in bathrooms.The refrigerator had several broken and unusable shelves.The paint on the deck was peeling, and the deck itself was undergoing replacement. Outside furniture was filthy.There was a missing pane of glass in the basement, though which a local cat gained entrance. We only realized this when we heard meowing. House smelled like cat urine for days afterwards.Upon arriving, our party made the realtor aware of the status of the house. A representative from the realty came out and took pictures and brought a replacement fridge, but other than that did nothing.I not only cannot recommend renting this property, I have to advise not renting any property managed by Ann O'Brien realty.
