Kozy Kottage - The perfect quiet getaway

Nestled back at the end of the road sits the rustic "Kozy Kottage."

Only minutes from downtown, and a quick drive to Brundage (20 minutes), our Kottage is the perfect spot for your secluded getaway.

Rumor has it that this cabin was originally built as the film’s crew-quarters for the filming of Northwest Passage (1940) staring Tracy Spencer.

The Kottage is primarily heated with an auto-start pellet stove. (The fireplace is just for show and is blocked off and does not work.)

Welcome to your perfect rustic retreat! Our Kozy Kottage, is set up like a studio, promises tranquility and seclusion. The space features a curtained bedroom area, adding a touch of privacy to the open layout. You'll stay warm and toasty with the automatic start pellet stove and additional heaters.

Ideal for those seeking peace and a break from the hustle and bustle, our rustic Kottage is your go-to getaway spot. Whether you're enjoying a quiet weekend or a longer escape, you'll find comfort in the simplicity and charm of this secluded hideaway. Book your stay now and experience the ultimate relaxation!

Guest access:
Our Kottage is approximately 600 square feet and is laid out like a studio. For your privacy we have installed a curtained wall for the bedroom.

It is approximately 80 years old and is still very rustic. We are still in the process of adding updates and welcome any suggestions.

4x4 highly suggested during winter months.
Other things to note
Pellet bags are 40 lbs. Guest must be able to lift bags to refill pellet stove daily.

Driveway is a shared driveway so please check before booking with additional trailers, campers or extra large vehicles.r.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check-out is 11:00 AM. Before departing, please turn off the pellet stove, wash used dishes, place towels near the washer, and ensure windows are closed and doors are locked.
Please turn the pellet stove thermostat fully to the left (off position) and return the wall heater to the 11 o’clock setting before departure.
No need to strip beds or take out trash — our cleaning team will handle that. If you leave early, a quick message is appreciated. Safe travels and thank you for staying with us!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No fires in the fireplace (decorative only).
No attic access.
Shared driveway—please park next to the cabin on the left side.
