The house was perfect for our group and gave us plenty of space to spread out. There were also some really cool amenities that made the stay even better. We were in town for a trade show, so being able to walk to the convention center was a huge plus. There were also plenty of great local restaurants and bars nearby, which made it easy to get out and enjoy the area. The house is really spacious and has so much historic character, but it’s also been renovated really well. The owners were super responsive and quick to help with any questions or issues we had during our stay.
It was a great spot, very centrally located - parks and restaurants all in walking distance. The kids had a blast with all the different activities at the house. Beds were comfy!
The house met the description well, was clean and well stocked. Our families enjoyed the many amenities offered. Communication was clear and easy with hosts. Would recommend!
The house and casita are amazing. Warm and inviting. The hot tub was perfect. We had everything we needed to make our meals. It was definitely one of our favorite rentals.
Very cool and nice home. Great location and a unique experience for our team trip for a convention. We spent a lot of time outside together and had a great time.
I would absolutely stay here again. The home is in a great location - close to everything you need and convenient to attractions like the River Walk and Tower of the Americas, while still being in a peaceful, quiet area. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out and entertainment options for the whole family. The checkout process was also very easy, which we appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is to add a little more window coverage for privacy. The front bedroom curtains don’t fully cover the windows, and adding shades or curtains in the main living area would be a nice improvement. The window tint provides great privacy during the day, but at night, when the lights are on inside, the living area is visible from the road.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful, comfortable home in a convenient location, and we would happily stay here again.
Stay was Superb and communication with host was top notch. Truly appreciated how any/all questions were addressed immediately. Will definitely be back. Family also enjoyed hot tub, colors, decor, and entire set-up. Applaud you for a well thought out layout and the historical presence put the icing on the cake! THANKS FOR ALLOWING US TO STAY!
Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay in San Antonio while celebrating our son’s college graduation! The house was outstanding, beautiful, comfortable, spotless, and so welcoming. We especially loved the Casita, which was such a great extra space for our family. The location was perfect and so close to everywhere we needed to go throughout the trip. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and stress-free.Derek and Lauren were fantastic hosts. They answered every question so quickly and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for such a special family celebration. Highly recommend!
Absolutely perfect stay! We didn’t have time to enjoy the sauna, hot tub, or cold plunge, but we did get to play some mini golf and yard games and it made our stay so much fun. The front porch was the perfect setting for morning coffee- what a beautiful home- the hosts went above and beyond before, during, and after the stay. We had several family members stop by for a visit and they were also in awe at the beauty of the home. Looking forward to staying here again!!! It is in the most perfect location for access to the riverwalk, convention center, and some super neat walkable shops/coffee/places to eat.
This house had some great amenities & we used them all - karaoke machine, putting greens, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Within walking distance to the riverwalk, the tower, the Alamo, restaurants and shopping. House was spacious for the 7 of us. Beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with the air conditioning the first couple days but Derek was very responsive and had someone come out and fix it. I would definitely recommend this house!
The property exceeded my expectations. And it exceeded the expectations of my coworkers. The house couldn’t have been more accommodating and excellent communicators.I will definitely be back
We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. The house was so spacious and clean. We chose the house because the yard had so many fun amenities! The grandkids enjoyed running around and climbing the jungle gym with the swing. We had a fun round of mini golf. The location was great! The day after the wedding, we had a couple of friends stay with us. We had a short walk to the Tower of Americas, strolled through the festivities celebrating Dia de los Muertos, and ended with a stroll on the riverwalk. That evening we enjoyed the hot tub, the cold plunge and had a late night corn hole competion. It was a great way to finish out a fabulous weekend! I highly recommend this house. Derek and Lauren were great and quick communicators if we had any questions.
This house was a great experience for a friends trip to San Antonio! The house decor and themes were thoughtfully done and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy time with the group in the house. Having three full, spacious bathrooms and a half bath was great for everyone to have some privacy during the stay. The outdoor portion of the home was excellent and has something for everyone. The hot tub was very clean and offered a fun place to relax and catch up with friends. We used it every night. The putting green, yard games, sauna, and cold plunge were fun options for those who had an interest in them. If we had a longer stay, I’m sure we would have lit a fire and sat around the fire pit. The location was also very good. It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the closest scooter drop point and another 5 minutes by scooter be in the heart of downtown! Even if scooters aren’t your thing - it’s only a 15 minute walk to the River Walk downtown. Hope to return again another time!
The house offered a lot of space, but its location made us uncomfortable as far as safety is concerned for a group of women staying together in an unfamiliar city. The house offers historic charm, and the owners do state this and let you know they did the "best they can" in restoring the old home. The bathroom tile could be cleaned better in the corners and crevices, but otherwise the home was clean and well cared for. The owner's communication was very prompt when we had trouble accessing the home on the first day of stay, he also was able to get us in an hour early.
