Nestled in the mountains of Columbia Falls, this delightful log home on 8 acres offers 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds which convert to king if needed.

The second queen bed is located in the charming guest cabin only a short distance from the main cabin. Guests can enjoy the soothing ambiance of the cozy log interior, complete with WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, A/C and heating. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and wall-tiled showers and glass doors.

The spacious kitchen has recently been remodeled with updated appliances, a double-sized copper sink and granite counter tops. The cookware, dishes, etc are complementary to this upscale kitchen.

Enjoy the mountain trails behind the property and/or in the park. Huckleberries can be picked on the property in July, The "Under the Big Sky" event July 17-19 is just minutes from the property. Glacier National Park is approx. 20 minutes and Whitefish Lake is about 15 minutes. Hungary Horse Dam is also nearby. Fine dining is waiting for you in Whitefish, together with their many unique shops.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the mountain cabin. It’s very secluded, quiet and peaceful. It is well decorated and fully equipped, including the kitchen, for everything one needs. Check in was very easy, a door code. The host was readily available. We had deer greet us every morning as we had coffee on the very large outside seating area. I would love to come back for another stay sometime

We enjoy providing a "home away from home" to our guests in a location where you can truly enjoy nature and scenery at its finest and also enjoy the peaceful feel of a log cabin together with a gourmet kitchen.

Why they chose this property

There is a special feel about being in the mountain. Even the dirt road for the last two miles of the drive winding its way into the mountain to the cabin is a part of the adventure!

What makes this property unique

The property is very uniquely located with beautiful Whitefish Lake and the town of Whitefish with all of its unique shops and fine eating places 15 minutes to the west, Canada to the north about 1 hour plus, Kalispell and the airport to the south about 20 minutes and Columbia Falls to the east about 15 minutes and minutes more to the east is Glacier National Park with the must drive of taking the "Going to the Sun Road".

Hungary Horse Dam, one of the nations most significant dams, and yet not nationally advertised is shortly before Glacier National Park. It is quite the wonder to see!
