The only negative was check was listed at 1pm but the cleaner wasn’t finished until almost 2 pm. My son arrived at 1:15 pm. He was helpful pointing out rooms and areas that were done and told them to come in.

Very nice and spacious property. Older home with newly renovated first floor. Upstairs was pretty basic. No electrical outlets in upstairs bathroom. Squeaky upstairs floors which is common in older rooms. Nice newer washer and dryer in basement which was nice. We were attending a family reunion and several folks joined us at house for a meal. There was plenty of seating and dishes and flatware. TV was a little challenging to figure out which we did. We never could find local stations.

Was not as advertised with 2 beds in 2 of the rooms. Didn’t really affect us but should be corrected. Sink in downstairs bathroom drained slowly.

The house itself is a lovely older home that has had extensive renovation on the first level. It would be the perfect place for an indoor reception or family gathering. The upstairs bedrooms are spartan (no night stands or lamps) but it was just the two of us and it worked fine. We did not use the downstairs rec room but we did use the laundry facilities. The host was very responsive and our only issue was the AC was set lower (too cold) than we liked. We would stay here again.

This property is a step back in time. The main floor is remodeled very nicely. The basement where the washer and dryer are has a room that feels like the 1960's. It has a radio and bar that are from the old days and is pretty cool. The 2nd floor where the bedrooms is definitely a step back in time. The woodwork and furniture is very dark. The paint is very dark. There were no nightstands in any of the rooms which made it hard for me as I use a cpap machine. The bathroom is again from back in the day. The toilet was SO nasty and dirty. I had to clean that myself. The shower had hair in it not only on the floor on the shower but on the shampoo bottles, etc. The mirror in the bathroom and the countertop were not clean. The towels were put helter skelter, etc. In other words, the cleanliness and inviting touches were not present.
