The house was very clean, and communication with the property owner was straightforward. Check-in process was simple. I would recommend this property to any group, especially larger groups that need multiple rooms and space.

Nancy - We’re glad to hear that Sunset Bay worked well for your group and provided the room you needed while visiting the area. Our team works hard to be responsive and helpful from booking through checkout, so it’s great to know you felt supported throughout your stay. We’d be happy to welcome you back anytime your travels bring you this way!
Nice tucked away home with plenty of living space. Good for large groups. Easy access to Carlton, Cloquet, and Duluth. Pretty sunsets over the water. Biggest concern was the lake level was too low to fish from dock or to get our boat to the dock, but this was not within owner’s control. Only other opportunity was that trash cans from prior guests were all full, but staff came the day after we alerted them and hauled it away. Overall, a nice home with a lot of room to spread out.

Thank you so much, Jeff! It sounds like the home gave your group the perfect place to relax, spread out, and enjoy some beautiful evenings by the water. I’m sorry the low lake level interfered with your fishing and boating plans, but I truly appreciate your understanding that nature doesn’t always cooperate! I’m also sorry the trash hadn’t been removed before your arrival, although I’m glad our team was able to take care of it once notified. I’ll be giving you a call to learn more about your experience and see how we can make your next stay even better. We’d be so happy to host your group again! - Paula, Heirloom Vacations
