This property was in a great location for Bisbee. The location was close to bars, shopping, and food. We did not need drive our car during our stay. We woud stay here again.
Great spot! Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. It was easily accessible with good parking. You don’t have to drive up narrow, winding roads. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again.
This was a very clean, well maintained property. Our host was friendly. I loved his official greeter, Ophelia! Air conditioner and heater worked beautifully. I slept soundly on the comfy bed. I already want to go back.
What an amazing stay we had! This location has it all...kind proprietors, very clean and charming accommodations, great value and perfect location where you are in the heart of everything without any of the traffic and bar noise. The owners were unbelievably kind and helpful and they have the cutest dog, Ophelia, who greeted us on her way out for her walks. Will definitely be back!!
Everything was just as described with no exceptions! Our hosts while nearby, never bothered us. The place was clean, well appointed for its size and extremely comfortable. We loved it!
The host was great. The place was clean and cozy. The only thing was that we could not make the AC work properly. As we had mild weather and we really didn't need the AC. I was trying just to get the fan to circulate air, but I would suggest they would work on it for the people staying in summer.

Mary, had you asked me to help you with the AC during your stay, I would have been happy to do so. The unit works but some people are not used to using mini splits.
The host is a friendly guy and makes you feel welcome. Everything in room works. Blocked from any noise with front garden and wall. Super easy walk to Old Town Bisbee. Shower pressure and temperature gets a big thumbs up.
This was just a fantastic place to stay in Bisbee. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but not to far to walk to downtown. The host communication was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place.
Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, my wife and I have settled in Bisbee after spending 20 years in Texas where we owned and operated a James Beard nominated Mexican spirits bar and restaurant. While we no longer wanted to be in food and beverage, we love hospitality and creating unique spaces to share with others. I was raised in the antiques business and my wife is an artist. Both her work and pieces from my collection can be found in the unit.
Why they chose this property
We love the upper Brewery Gulch neighborhood for its history as the red light district of Bisbee, architecture and close proximity to food, nightlife and shopping while being just far enough to be quiet and tranquil. We also love the natural surroundings and hiking trails close by.
What makes this property unique
Our property is a former brothel and one of the few brick homes in the neighborhood. It is architecturally distinct and features a stone walled courtyard that has a petrified wood and rock garden, fountain and native and other plants to attract birds, butterflies and pollinators. It is also alleged to be haunted though they don’t bother anyone. We have been featured in several books and magazines including Bisbee’s Pioneer Homes, Haunted Bisbee, and recently Arizona Highways. We are on several tours including architecture, history and haunted tours.
