Thank you for leaving the house so clean—you were a wonderful guest! I wanted to clarify the situation with the air conditioning in the Family Room so future guests have the full context. Unfortunately, the A/C unit broke the week before your stay. I had my HVAC team out right away, but they needed to order a part to complete the repair. In the meantime, they supplied a portable unit that was tested and working. However, during your stay, the portable unit began tripping the circuit breaker. I made the six-hour drive to meet my HVAC technician, and he provided a smaller replacement unit that functioned properly for the remainder of your visit. To help make up for the inconvenience, I also issued a $200 refund. I’m including this information so that future reviewers have a complete and accurate understanding of the situation.
