Beautiful cabin in great location relative to Henry's Lake and West Yellowstone. Very spacious, with dining and sleeping accommodations for a large group.

Lucas, we are so glad that you had a good time at our cabin in Island Park. It was a pleasure to have you stay and we appreciate the GREAT CARE that you took of our 'home away from home'!
Nice cabin. Great location and nice size for our big group. However, cabin was on the older side, so a lot of things were broken/not working (fans, oven, beds etc.) Hosts were responsive and helpful to solve our issues in a timely manner though. Additionally, cabin could have been maintained better and kept cleaner (cobwebs outside, some appliances were dirty, left behind food in fridge, etc.). Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay.
We had such a wonderful time snowmobiling and cross country skiing from this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed the cabin as well. It was a perfect cozy place of relaxation and fun. The cabin was well stocked and well taken care of.
Everything about this cabin was amazing. The location was perfect for visiting Yellowstone and it had amazing views at the cabin. The host was phenomenal and couldn’t have asked for anything else.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The house and property were beautiful and secluded. A lot of the essentials that we needed were stocked at the house. The house was more than spacious and provided plenty of room for all 9 of us. We did feel that some things could have been cleaner at our arrival - especially the counters, fridge, floors, and deck. There were also some minor maintenence items that we wish had been taken care of - windows that didn't open, screens falling out, doors that had to remain locked against the wind, wobbly beds.
We had 15 family members stay here while we visited Yellowstone NP. It was 30 minutes to the park entrance and you went through West Yellowstone which had several eateries. The cabin was spacious and had great views of the Idaho mountains. Well stocked kitchen.
Our stay was wonderful. The area was great with an amazing view. The home was spacious and cozy for our traveling party of 9 people. The game room in the basement worked out great for the kids. The back doors were a bit tricky and we had a hard time keeping them closed (that would be my only 'negative' comment, and it honestly wasn't that big of a deal for us).
We could not have been happier with the cabin and its amenities. There was space for everyone and plenty to keep us occupied when we were in from our adventures during the day. The property manager was just a message away, and they helped a lot with notes in the cabin as well.
Lovely home, fabulous location and quiet stay. Deer passing through the property accompany the spring birds' songs.
High-tech lights, fans, outlets and heating provided some challenges, but were quickly resolved with great communication with the host.
Pros: excellent communication with host, very close to Yellowstone, kitchen was well stocked, lots of space for our group of 10. Peaceful and quiet area.
Cons: house definitely could be cleaned better. Not sure if the kitchen was done before we arrived as the previous renter’s food was still in the freezer, fridge and microwave were dirty inside, dishes were still in the dishwasher and we found several pots/pans in the cupboards that we needed to wash before using.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the cabin worked well for our group.
Lots of space of 8 adults in our party. Had wonderful time during our 3 nights stay. Very well equipped and stocked kitchen, spacious living and dining areas. Surroundings exactly as as seen in the pictures.
Couple of issues: Outside lights at the front entrance won't light up, which left us in the dark as we park and enter. Many expired items still stocked in the kitchen that are well past the expiry dates need to be thrashed.

Big let down
We were so hopeful for this rental but it was so unmaintained. Everything was dirty. Multiple fans were broken. A bed was falling apart right and the host didn't seem to want to try to help the situation. They just asked questions about the broken stuff. Almost like they were uninterested in helping. Great view tho.

Jordan, we would love to hear from you regarding the items in the home that you feel were 'unmaintained' and what was 'dirty' that should have been more clean. You mentioned that someone had to sleep on the couch due to a broken bed.
We are puzzled regarding the bed that was 'falling apart' and that you were frustrated that someone had to sleep on the couch because of this problem.
We are always more than willing to help the situation and replied quickly to your messages and didn't hear back from you. There were more than enough beds that were ready for your party of 9 that you identified in your rental request. There were beds made for 16 people to sleep. We are sorry that you felt that we were uninterested in helping because we reached out and you never responded.
We had an amazing stay at this property. The host was incredibly communicative, attentive and was easy to work with. The house was well stocked with spices, pots/pans and any kitchens necessities. Id recommend this house to any large family that wants to visit Yellowstone and the surrounding areas. We had a diverse age group raging from my 75 year old Dad to my 6 month old grand daughter. My kids ages 16 and 10 absolutely loved the game room and we all enjoyed playing ping pong together. The location could'nt have been any better. It was only 20 minutes to Yellowstone but far enough away to avoid the crowds. There were lots of amazing fishing spots nearby. We even spent a day in Jackson Hole and visited the Grand Tetons- it was about a 2 hour drive away. The house was big enough we all had our own space when it was time to retire for the evening and each room having their own bathroom was perfect and made it easy to get ready and out the door first thing in the morning. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us with the large living room upstairs where we could play cards and games while another grouo could either watch TV downstairs or play ping pong or foosball. We had an amazing time and wouldn't hesitate to rent the house again for any of our future Yellowstone trips.
Cabin was perfect location as described to West Gate Yellowstone. We were located far enough from other cabins to allow privacy. Room was perfect for our family's. Well stocked. Maybe alittle to overstocked from past family's as they had so many items left in fridge out of date and took up needed space. Asked for two request, one out of managements control which was WiFi. They did have someone come in but was on last day and an hr before we all left.Would of been nice if sooner but we are on vacation and NEEDED to be unplugged. I offered to weed whack before we came and said it would be done.Which wasn't. However it was so warm we didn't worry about getting to horseshoe pits. Was not a deal breaker. So basically all needs were met. Clean Beds, Hot Showers, Tub. Laundry Accessibility. Roomy, Stocked Kitchen. Would we stay again ? Absolutely!

It was a joy to have Susie stay at our cabin. I would DEFINITELY rent to her again!! They left things VERY clean upon departure. Our communication was a success but it was difficult to get the workers there quickly enough to fix the WIFI. Thank you to Susie and her family for leaving things so "clean" even after departure.
No TV upstairs, no hand rail leading into the house. Wasn’t great for elderly parents trying to get in and around. Not enough pillow cases for pillows. Bathroom tiles missing in the shower. Didn’t seem like the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed.

Brian, I am sorry that your experience was only SO SO. We take pride in making your stay a happy and comfortable one. We definitely understand how it is having elderly parents and the stairs down to the 2nd 'gathering room’.
We received your reservation for
5- adults and 0- children . I know that the beds were made to actually accommodate 8 adults with regards to pillows. (1 king, 2 Queens and 2 Full beds that each had a 2 sleeping pillows.) There were 8 pillows with pillow cases left altogether (2 more in the 'bunk room'). those were left due to the fact that we were unaware of the sleeping arrangements that might be needed for a party of 5 adults.and 0 children. I'm not sure why there would be a shortage of pillowcases.
We are working on the problem with the Shower threshold in the basement bathroom.
We have always only had 1 internet based TV in the cabin and that is how the report shows on the VRBO listing. The other TV that is in the Queen Bedroom upstairs plays DVD’s that can be found in the large cabinet in the basement TV cabinet.
We would definitely like to hear feedback regarding the "not the cleanest place" regarding any specific problems that you saw upon your arrival. We take great pride in our property and always want suggestions that we can improve on. Thank you.
Overall the place was really roomy. I felt like the picture didn't do it justice. It was a really nice cabin. It was well stocked. The kitchen was great! The beds were really comfortable. The game area for the kids was amazing as well. We even used the fire pit in the back and they had plenty of wood for us to use. But the longer we stayed there, the more we noticed that things were broken or not working. Some windows didn't open and they had tape holding them up. Tiles in some of the bathrooms were broken. The doors had a really hard time staying closed. We did enjoy our stay. These things are minor, but overall it was a great place to stay for 5 days.
The cabin is very large, with huge rooms and 4 baths, 3 of them en suite. We found the location ideal, 25 minutes south of West Yellowstone, 5 miles off the main highway in an incredibly quiet area with gorgeous sunsets. There are a few houses around, with more being built, but very large lots and none of the houses can hear each other. There is an RV park close, but it was closed in October. The cabin was incredibly well stocked with the essentials and more (like bear spray to take in the park!). Appliances were large and worked well. Bring your own logins for the streaming services in case you have a cabin day. Lots of wood for the fireplace or fire pit. A few things - if you happen to be there dyring cold weather, there is a panel that controls all of the heated floors in the rooms and turn it to occupied . If you are driving there, bring your own pillows. The main area, bathrooms, sheets and towels were all clean. However, the cabin could use some TLC in corners and such, as we were there at the end of the season. The outside could use some TLC; there was no way to play the horseshoes advertised as it was overgrown with the natural habitat. The communication with the owners was ok, as they answered questions, but they don't respond as quickly as other owners or managers that we have dealt with. There also isn't a manual on how to do everything which could help, glad there arent a ton of rules. We enjoyed our stay & found the price very good for the size & amenities.
Our group of 11 had a fantastic, relaxing stay at this quiet, secluded cabin. It was clean and remarkably well-stocked, which made our trip much smoother. We especially appreciated the ample paper products, shampoo, and body wash in the showers, and a thoughtful supply of cleaning essentials, mosquito spray, and bear spray.. The kitchen was also well-equipped with spices and even some useful dry goods left by previous guests. The hosts were incredibly responsive, promptly answering our questions both before and during our arrival, which was very reassuring. The cabin's location is excellent, just 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance, making daily park visits convenient.A few helpful pointers for future guests:There's a small store at the RV park next door where you can grab staples like eggs and bread. This saved us a trip into town! There is an access road to Henry’s Lake. While there's no air conditioning (and as my husband wisely pointed out, you typically don't need it in Idaho!), fans were provided for comfort. Just note that a couple of windows were a bit stubborn and didn't open. The doors have a slightly tricky locking mechanism, but the instructions provided on the door are clear and easy to follow. We were also very grateful that the hosts delivered a dumpster during our stay, which was a huge convenience for our large group. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin and found it perfectly spacious for everyone.

Why they chose this property
We LOVE Henry's Lake, Island Park and being near the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We are close to the highway but definitely far enough away to only hear the wind in the trees, hawks and eagles flying over and an occasional sighting of Moose and antelope in our front and back yard.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique with 3 Large ensuites and a 4th bunk bedroome and it sleeps 16 in those rooms and an additional 2 on a new pullout couch in the main floor living area. We have a BIG WONDERFUL view of the Sunset off the back deck during the summer months with only a 30 minute drive into West Yellowstone.
