Create the perfect vacation while relaxing in our clean, comfortable, beachfront condo. We are pleased to share our vacation home offering casual beach living on the Gulf. Island Sands is located on the quieter west end of Okaloosa Island. A wide variety of restaurants, entertainment and shopping are nearby.

The views of the white sand and surf from sunrise to every marvelous sunset are spectacular, From the balcony or on the beach you will have endless opportunities to enjoy them.

Our complex has just 27 units and an uncrowded beach. Two complmentary each chairs and an umbrella are set up each day between March 1 and October 31, for our guests. Enjoy a long walk on the pristine white sand beach next to emerald waters. Build a sandcastle, read a book. Kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent.

With a short trip into Destin you can find zip lines, enjoy a pub, rent a boat, golf, or take a fishing charter. Your vacation at your speed.

Island Sands #208 has a private entrance up one flight of stairs. No crowded lobbies and elevators. The condo layout at Island Sands is terrific with a large living room open to the full kitchen. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and an attached half-bath. A full bathroom is located between the kitchen and bedroom. Both bathrooms were recenty udated. There is a queen-size sleeper couch in the living room. TVs in the living room and bedroom feature Smart TV flat screens with cable and wi-fi.

A well-stocked kitchen is available for those who want to eat in. There is also an in-unit washer and dryer. Grills and a bike rack for guest use are located near the pool. Bath and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Okaloosa Island is famous for its white sugar sand beaches, emerald green waters, and many attractions. Nearby Destin is widely known as the 'world's luckiest fishing village'. Enjoy our bit of paradise inside, outside, or on the balcony. We fell in love with Island Sands a few years ago and are sure you will too. We always have a fantastic trip when we vacation at the beach and visit Destin. Come see the beautiful island for your first time or return over and over again. It is always a good time!

Please leave the towels in the hallway and leave the linens on the bed
For the benefit of the next guest, we need departure on or before 10 AM for the housekeeping staff
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Park in the spot labled #208 or a blank parking space. Please do not park in other marked locations.
No toys, trash, bicycles, or other items are to be on the front porch, front walkway, or the balcony per the HOA rules.
There is a bike rack by the grills for bike storage. No smoking or vaping even on the balcony or front porch.

The proximity to the beach and convenience of the pool/grill area made it an extremely family friendly stay. We flew in from Indiana and chose to rideshare rather than try to find a rental car, which proved to be ideal as well, in approximity to Miracle Strip Pkwy. We had a small crew of three and it was ideal for us. Best part is the ocean view stepping through the front door and getting acquainted with our hosts!

We had a beautiful stay at this cozy one bedroom condo. The view from the second story balcony was gorgeous. The kitchen was well appointed, updated bathrooms were very nice. Beach chair service was the best part for us. The small building size meant we didn't have to take our towels down early in the morning. We had a front row seat everyday. The pool area had plenty of seating. The only drawback was the lack of a paved walkway around the building to the beach access bridge.

We had an incredible time at this condo! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super comfy, and the view was absolutely stunning. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making the entire process smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect — close to local attractions, restaurants, and the beach. We can’t wait to come back and would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was fantastic, the view was beautiful, and I especially loved the balcony. Overall, I loved almost everything about the property.A couple of small downsides: there was no elevator, which normally wouldn’t be a huge deal, but since I had a sprained ankle and a heavy suitcase, it made things a little tough. The toilet paper was honestly the worst—felt like wiping with copy paper—and the toilets could have been a bit cleaner.On the positive side, the floors were surprisingly very clean (which isn’t always the case at beach properties where sand gets everywhere), and there were so many other great things about the place that the minor negatives really didn’t overshadow my stay.I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again!
