Wonderful little house near lake and downtown Austin

I stayed here for 3 months and I loved it! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it's super private, and Melissa couldn't be a more helpful host. Also really easy access to the lake and bike trails - highly recommend!

Amazing get away!!

Cottage was wonderful!! The bed was super comfortable and everything was neat and clean. Having the washer and dryer was very convenient. So close to everything, but on a quiet street. Melissa was wonderful. Definitely somewhere I will stay again.

Very cozy and clean!

From start to finish, my experience renting the Deep Eddy Cottage was great. Melissa was very prompt to respond to my questions and gave me so many suggestions concerning my personal interests, things to do, and places to eat during my stay in Austin. My husband and I felt very comfortable at the cottage and safe in the neighborhood it's in. It was clean and beautifully decorated! It's also very close (within 15 minutes by car) to almost everything we wanted to do in the city. We decided to rent a car, but you could easily use Uber to get anywhere you'd like to go. If ever we're in Austin again, we'll definitely be staying at the Deep Eddy Cottage again!

Fun and Comfortable Stay in Heart of Austin

Enjoyed a recent stay at this charming cottage in the heart of Austin. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Deep Eddy neighborhood with a great private courtyard and outdoor seating. It is close to downtown, the lake, Zilker park, hike and bike trail, Deep Eddy pool (the best pool in Austin!) and a variety of restaurants. The neighborhood is authentically Austin and couldn’t be more centrally located. The cottage has charm but still with all the modern conveniences and decor - comfortable bed, big closet, flat screen TV, cold beer in the fridge. I really can’t recommend this place enough, the location and comfort can’t be beat!

Perfect Little Cottage in the heart of Austin

I recently stayed at this beautiful home to be near my daughter and help her with the birth of our first grandchild. I could not have been more pleased! Everything from the king-sized bed and tempurpedic mattress to the adorable kitchen was beyond my expectations. The outdoor space is lovely and my husband and I often grilled our dinner and sat outside every evening with a glass of wine. I cannot recommend this perfect cottage enough! Private, well appointed....we will be back!
