My family and I stayed for two nights. The condo had everything we needed from extra pillows to kitchen ware/appliances. It was very clean and we all slept comfortably. Condo was very good, clean and all essentials provided. It was easy and quick to get to downtown by car or uber/lyft, but although it was a gated complex, the area was just a little 'sketchy'. However, it was really good value for money.

We were just in for 1 night. The complex is being remodeled, but did not interfere with our stay. This condo was well appointed (nice toiletries, lots of pillows and blankets and kitchen ware. The neighborhood is a little “sketchy” in some areas, but that is true of the area near the college in general.

We rented the condo for the weekend because we were going to a concert at the Moody Center. It’s not too far away and fairly easy to get to, which made the location very convenient. The condo itself was very spacious and clean—plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. One thing to note is that the water in the sinks doesn’t get hot, but the shower does, so that wasn’t a major issue for us. Also, the exit gate wasn’t closed due to construction. Overall, it was a great place to stay at a great price for our weekend plans.

We really liked the condo! Very clean, recently renovated, with nice kitchen set up, and great shower! Bed was extremely comfortable. There is a great little coffee shop a block away with amazing crepes, and it is right near a bus line. We had no problems with the neighborhood personally, but it might feel a little sketch to some. The boarded up Jack In the Box next door and its constant crew of folks reminded me of a scene from The Wire. The complex itself seems to be about 70% under construction, with beat up pavement (not ADA accessible) and the pool wasn’t very enticing. But if you aren’t traveling alone and are looking for a good deal, I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Why they chose this property

We are located in a culturally diverse, blue collar, family oriented community.

There are many great food options within a 5 mile radius. But, walking distance will offer Chipotle, Anne’s Treats, 'What a burger', 'Jack In the Box', 'P Terry's', 888 Asian Cuisine and 'Hai Ky' Vietnamese, Subway, Dominos, Papa Johns... There are more as well, this is a quick reference.

There is also a full service bar / pool hall within walking distance by the name of 'Clicks Billiards'.

'Emo's' is about a mile away, a live music venue to check out if you happen to be in town when they're hosting a concert. And in the adjacent parking lots across the street are 'Buzzmill', a local crowd casual bar with a nice outdoor patio and fire pit when it's cold. And 'The Jackalope', another local bar scene with louder music atmosphere, games outside on the patio and the occasional dj.

Although the nightlife is fun, my personal favorite neighborhood destination is the beautiful hike and bike trail right down the street on Lady Bird Lake! Great place for kayak rental or just to take a walk, bike or people watch. Bicycles and electric scooters are readily available to get you places.

Grocery store! The most convenient local store is right across the street from the entry gate to the complex. Otherwise longer term stays may prefer more selection at the grocery store - HEB. It is located about 2 miles away on Riverside Drive.

With a bus stop just 100 feet down the street, getting around is easy. The gated condo can only be accessed with a key code, ensuring your security. A 24-hour maintenance person resides on-site to keep the grounds in pristine condition.
