SKYBOX LOUNGE

Start your morning with our complimentary hot breakfast served daily from 8:30–10:00 AM in the Skybox. Our fresh breakfast includes golden waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs, seasonal fruit, and rotating daily specials.

Guest Access:

Riverview Inn is a ten room motel overlooking the Tennessee River from the North side of Lookout Mountain. You'll have access to your private room and balcony, while sharing access to our amenities with other guests.



Interaction Preferences:

All of our cabins are equipped with keyless entry systems that make check-in and check-out a fully automated process. Full instructions will be provided prior to your check-in date.



If you have any questions, comments, or experience any difficulties during your stay, our team of dedicated, locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call and available to help from 8 am to 11 pm every day.

Getting Around:

To make the most of your stay, we recommend a car to get around. Each of our tiny cabins can accommodate two cars in private driveways.



UBER and Lyft are available throughout the Chattanooga area, in addition to a number of local taxi services. Please note that availability may be extremely limited during peak times.



The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots.



A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules.



Bike Chattanooga offers bike share rentals at 42 self-service kiosk locations all around downtown Chattanooga. With over 300 bicycles and 50 e-bikes this is a great way to explore the city. Visit Bike Chattanooga’s website to learn more.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that our pricing through March 1, 2025, is discounted as we finalize our updates to the property and to an adjacent building that will serve as the future home to Roasted Root Coffee Shop! During this time, you may encounter incidental work on the grounds as we prepare for our Spring 2025 Grand Opening. Pictures are based on Room One, other rooms are similar but may have slightly different furnishings.



PET POLICY:

We are pleased to allow dogs at the Riverview Inn, under specific terms and conditions. See our house rules/notes section for more information.



DEPOSITS:

Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation. Please review our policy forbidding parties, events and unregistered guests to ensure your stay abides with this policy and does not jeopardize your deposit.



NO SMOKING:

Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Timberroot properties.

Refer to the rental agreement to see these policies and the additional fees that occur if you fail to follow them.



PESTS:

We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control, and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.



However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, guests may encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so that our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.



By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
