This is a great place to stay when visiting Key West. It’s only a short ride to Duvall Street and other key areas from the hotel. The pools and grounds were well kept, and the rooms were clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

The resort was pretty nice for being a resort. Room service everyday. Pool area and courtyard always had something going on and a restaurant, bar, and starbucks on site. Wasnt too fond of it being booked through a middle man agency that when i had questions i needed answered i got told to call the resort because they were just booking it.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the food truck and entertainment. Room was clean. Our housekeeper reached out to make sure the accommodations were suitable. They were! I wish there were more pet friendly areas since it is a pet friendly resort.

For a hotel rental, it was a great choice for my first trip to Key West with my daughter. We knew the accommodations were located off the beaten path, but it was a short, inexpensive Lyft ride to get to the old town area. We enjoyed the quiet pools and variety of yard games available for entertainment. The bars were well stocked and had sufficient options. There were pockets of times during the day that could have benefited from more bar staff. The breakfast and lunch menus offered were reasonably priced and well prepared. The room seemed quite clean and was very comfortable for the two of us. Basic accommodations, but perfect for slumber after a day of adventure. One bonus was the Starbucks located in the building! If you are looking for a low key, laid back atmosphere, the Blue Flamingo is a terrific option.

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Flamingo in Key West! The location was absolutely perfect — close to everything and easy to get around once we settled in. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.The only hiccup we had was on arrival — we got in late, and our listing referred to the property as “The Tropical Playground,” which caused some confusion. We spent about 30 minutes driving around at 11 p.m. trying to find it, only to realize that the Blue Flamingo which was listed as a “resort nearby” on VRBO was in fact the name of the place that we were staying.Once we figured that out, everything went smoothly from there!Overall, our experience was fantastic. The stay exceeded expectations once we were settled, and we’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Key West!

We were underwhelmed. We were qouted a fee inclusive of all fees and taxes. Then the hotel started adding outreach fee, county tax,resort fee and parking. The bar in the lobby was never opened. There was no microwave, table nor 2 chairs, we registered two adultsbut there was only one place for a suitcase. We had to use the couch for the other suitcase. This meant no place to sit beside the bed. Only one towel bar for wet towels and bathing suits For two adults. Light switch by the entry door did not work.
