Charming 2-bedroom cottage right on a 30’ wide whitewater creek in Reliance, TN

This cottage with vaulted ceilings, big stone fireplace and huge deck that is right on the creek bank is so special! The kitchen is huge with butcher top counters, new appliances and every small appliance you can think of with a wall of windows looking at the creek. It sits on 20 acres with a native meadow and trails through the woods in the heart of Reliance, TN for fishing and rafting. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a hair dryer, laundry room and cable TV during your stay. We have a King bed in main bedroom with attached bath with beautiful marble and copper vessel sink. The large second bedroom has a queen bed and 2 twins. Both bedrooms have a wall of windows facing the creek. There is a second full bath off the hallway. The living room has six sides, 3 of them windows and 1 a large fireplace. The Creek House sleeps 6. There is only one other house on our property, The Ayuwasi House, also available on VRBO.

If you are heading to the Hiwassee River or surrounding area this is an excellent house for small groups. It is in a very peaceful location so lots of privacy. Furnished well and a pleasure to stay in.

My husband and I are newly retired and live in Chattanooga about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. We have owned this gorgeous property since 1995. It is very special to us and we take great care of it.

Why they chose this property

This house is secluded from other houses. You do not see or hear the neighbors, yet they are very kind. I love the creek and being able to swim in it. Watching the grey herring come to the rapids without moving for a long time, seeing the Eagle land in the tree above the creek, taking a walk on the trails hearing the rush of water, and seeing the Milky Way from the meadow at night are a few of my favorite things.
