This house is an amazing place full of beautiful art, photography and history. Our party of 7 adults gathered very comfortably in this lovely home. The host was generous and responsive, allowing us to have an early check in as we were coming straight from the airport with a bunch of luggage. The house was large and beautiful with unique decor.

Truly an unforgettable space to stay and dine! The experience of staying here is hard to describe with words - it has to be seen to be believed. We loved using the dining room and all the amazing linens, dinnerware and decor that came with it. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

The house was in a great location and beautifully decorated, with all the extras you might need. The gourmet kitchen was especially lovely and well equipped. Any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Beautiful home in SF

Everything in this home was perfect for our stay in San Francisco. Great kitchen, plenty of bedrooms, and walking distance to restaurants, the Golden Gate Park, and shopping. We parked our car in the driveway and didn’t use it again until we left. Thank you. It was a privilege to stay in your home.

Our stay at Peace House SF was an absolute dream! This 1890s Grand Victorian on Golden Gate Ave is a jaw-dropping masterpiece—pure luxury wrapped in historic charm. The 5,000 sq ft of opulent design, with 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, and 5 fireplaces, felt like stepping into a royal palace. The state-of-the-art kitchen opening to a serene zen garden was perfect for gourmet mornings, and the black dining room/library? A dramatic, unforgettable vibe for our group dinners! The movie theater was a total game-changer—cozy nights in felt like Hollywood premieres. Every corner screamed sophistication, from the plush furnishings to the eclectic, worldly decor. Steps from Golden Gate Park and vibrant NOPA, the location was unbeatable. We were obsessed—Peace House SF is a slice of paradise we’ll never forget!

There are no words to truly express how amazing the Peace House is! It is even more than all its descriptions. Just the house alone is a San Francisco experience and a perfect home base for enjoying all things San Francisco. And Elga - well, fantastic, phenomenal, every superlative. Excellent communicator, helpful, professional. We will never forget our time at the Peace House and it was perfect as the launch to an unforgettable family celebration around the City by the Bay. This property is everything it appears to be - sprawling, artfully decorated, unique, and luxurious. Hosts are wonderful and communicative. It’s truly a special location on a beautiful street closed to cars other than local traffic. We especially appreciated that the space is furnished with high quality pieces, not cheap decor like you might find in similarly large rental homes. This has been curated with care! Our only note for future guests is that there appears to be an in-law unit on the bottom floor of the property. I don’t believe it was occupied during our stay, but it could have been, and we wouldn’t have known. Not a problem, but it would have been less surprising to find out in the listing!

Gorgeous Queen Victorian

Amazing stay! Fresh flowers, fully stocked kitchen, fluffy towels, rainfall waterhead showers, clean, and it was decorated for Christmas inside with lights on auto-timers! Couldn’t be happier for our stay.

Fantastic location, real character

Celia and her assistant Elga made our stay fantastic. The house was beautiful (indoors and out - in the stunning garden!) with a dream kitchen and dining area as well as many distinct living spaces upstairs (almost every bathroom as at least its own half-bath, which made staying there as a family particularly lovely). The location was central to everything we wanted to do in San Francisco as a family.

We had a wonderful corporate offsite with a few team members that live out of town. The home was beautiful and Elga + Celia were incredible hosts. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend to families, friends and teams. Thanks again ladies!

Celia's house is nothing short of spectacular. It has plenty of bedrooms and living space. The space overall is very creative and inspiring. Kitchen is fully loaded which is always a plus. The bedrooms are all amazing and beautifully decorated. Plenty of bathrooms. Wifi is strong. Nice central location to all of SF.
