Edgewater Condominiums boasts 35 individually owned beachfront condos with full-size kitchens, elevator access, and resort amenities. It has gated parking, a tennis court, a pool, a hot tub, and direct beach access. It doesn't get any better than this!

POLICIES & INFO
Resort Fees: At certain times of the year, rentals may charge a one-time, per-guest Resort Fee to facilitate guest access. For more information, consult the Property Description or contact the reservation agent.

Refundable Damage Deposit: Rentals may require a Refundable Damage Deposit from March through Easter weekend. The Rental Company will collect this deposit by cash or credit card at check-in. If paying by credit card, the Primary Renter must present a credit card that matches their name upon check-in. For more information, consult the Property Description or contact the reservation agent.

Age Restrictions: The minimum age requirement for renters is 25. As per Homeowner Association Rules & Regulations, THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW YOUNG ADULT/SPRING BREAK GROUPS.

- This rental is family-friendly and non-smoking.
- The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
- Parties are strictly prohibited.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect other guests and property owners.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.
- This vacation home does not allow pets.

Perfect location in a beautiful condo. The ice maker in the bar area was a plus. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds very comfortable. The deck WONDERFUL. Can't wait to come back.

The property was as advertised. It was well stocked, clean, and the facilities were nice. The area was convenient for walking to shops, restaurants, and groceries. I would definitely return, as well as recommend to others.

Everything about this property was perfect! Location is incredible—beautiful ocean view , short walk to beach and you can watch the sun rise! Home is lovely, comfortable, well appointed and larger than appears in pictures.. The condition is exceptional and very clean. We will be back!

Fantastic experience

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. You're immediately met with the amazing view of the waves crashing into shore from the living room window. The decor was very nice! The pictures on the website don't do this place justice. Would definitely book this condo again!!

Great View with Thin Walls and Strong Chemical Smell

Stayed 4 nights with my family. Pros: Great ocean view Convenient location to restaurants and beach Well equipped with everything you need. Heated pool and hot tub Cons: You need to drive to check in at a different building where you also need to go to get new towels, shampoo and etc. The condo unit has really strong cleaning chemical smell. The walls are thin. You can hear your neighbor's music, laughter, coughing, talking and everything.

Beautiful restful oceanview condo

We traveled to SPI to celebrate a big birthday with some of our family staying in 3 EW units. From the moment we walked into EW402, we felt at home. The condo is decorated so nicely and had everything we could possibly need! We loved sitting out in the mornings and evenings on the balcony to watch the sun rise and set over the ocean. The ocean is just a short walk away on a well maintained path and when we didn’t want to be in the ocean, we could wash off at the showers and enjoy the refreshing pool that was never crowded. We so appreciated the condo owners having a notebook with a list of places and restaurants to visit, as well as the little kind reminder notes about the condo. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and helping to make my birthday celebration so special!

Nice Condo

Hate to give this condo such a good rating, because we don’t want competition booking it again in the future. Great condo, it was a quiet place. Grounds crews were busy with upkeep. Pool was crystal clean. Hated to leave. My only gripe was the master bedroom window is screwed shut. As a retired firefighter I see this as a safety hazard, especially with hurricane proof glass should there had been a need to quickly get onto the balcony. Other then that it was one of the better condos I have rented so far for the price we paid.

Beautiful property but I hated that it is run by a property management company. Or at least this property management company. Communication was slow. I had a question about payment before the trip and it took a super long conversation w vrbo just to be told the management company would email me my invoice in a couple weeks. I also didn’t like having to go to the management companies property to get the vrbo address and property info (codes/ etc) before I could go to the property. They should have just sent me an email prior to my arrival. The house itself was beautiful and clean. AC worked really well cooling and dehumidifying the property. Plenty of space. Comfortable furniture. Had pretty much everything we needed except we had to go buy our own trash bags. We had minor trouble with a slow drain and significant trouble w one of the TVs not connecting to the internet, but I didn’t bother calling the management company because it was an automated system and I felt like I would probably be on hold forever.

Almost perfect

My family and I had a great time staying in Edgewater 402. First off, it's bigger and nicer than it looks in the pictures. In particular, the pictures just don't do the balcony justice both in terms of size and in terms of quality of view. We spent a lot of time out there! There are two tables and six chairs, so plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, as was the sectional couch. Everything was nice and clean. We liked being able to use a washer and dryer during our stay. We also liked that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The pool area was pretty nice. While we were visiting in early April, things were pretty quiet in the building so we often had the pool/hot tub to ourselves. The beach access is super convenient. The shower to rinse off the sand was also handy. The location was very convenient. We often just walked to go out to dinner and we also hit up a couple of the beach bars within walking distance. The only very minor complaints were 1) having to wear wristbands the whole time and 2) the obnoxiously bright lights shining from the property next door. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would certainly consider renting here for our next trip to SPI.

Great place overall!

Location of this place is excellent! Ocean view is right there from the balcony, and the beach access is literally right there as well. The access made it easy for us to wheel our wagon full of beach stuff and was a safe walking path for our 3 and 5 year olds kids, as well as for our 68 year old grandma. Appreciated the elevator here too! We had to do a sweep of the condo when we first arrived to move all the little trinkets and decor up high so our kids wouldn’t break or destroy them. One thing to note with young kids as well is that there isn’t a bathtub. Our kids fared okay with one of us in there helping them shower, as we only washed them up good after being at the beach so I was still in my swimsuit to do so, but that was interesting… It all worked out though. We’d still stay here again, but just something to keep in mind if you have younger kids. If you plan on cooking there, you’ll need to bring your own cooking spray/cooking oil for the stovetop pans and tin foil/parchment paper for sheet pans in the oven. They didn’t have that stocked in the kitchen. There was salt and pepper, but that was it. So anything else you want for cooking will need to be brought from home or purchased once there. There are tons of appliances and mixing bowls and pans and dishes like a normal running kitchen would have, and they even have a small amount of kids plates, bowls, cups, and utensils (the colorful non breakable kind) so that was nice for us! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Book this condo!

I've been bringing my family to SPI on and off for 20 years and this unit has been the nicest place we've ever stayed. Edgewater is a wonderful complex; clean, quiet and small enough that we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves. We went off-season and were there for Mother's Day. The weather was perfect, although a bit windy. The pool is heated so it wasn't freezing, and the ocean was the perfect temperature too. This condo is freshly remodeled and it's gorgeous! Comfy beds, nice towels and updated showers and bathrooms. The kitchen was the best equipped I've ever seen, as well as the bar area. My only complaint about this trip has nothing to do with VRBO or this unit! SPI was not cleaning the seaweed off the beach and it was a little disappointing. Maybe they only do it during peak season, but that's the first time I've ever seen so much seaweed on the beach. The condo is available through Padre Island Rentals and they have a 24-hour front desk location, so if we needed anything, we didn't have to try and contact the owner. Defintely will try and book this unit again!

This condo was perfect. It was so clean, had what you needed, so comfortable and beautiful decor. The size of the property is perfect so that the crowds in the pool and on the beach aren’t bad at all. We will be staying in this condo again!

Wonderful condo, walk thru entry gates an issue

The location was stellar and condo clean, well decorated and maintained. Beautiful view of ocean and beach; however, if you are in the master bedroom you can the people noise from the beach at night. The condo had every utensil or appliance you would ever need for meals/entertaining. Issue with walk thru entry gates: after unpacking our vehicle on luggage cart and entering thru the gate from exterior parking, the gate's tension caused it to slam shut on my heel and one of the metal bars ripped a 3-inch laceration in Achilles area requiring 6 stitches and tetanus shot. We were told after calling a medical office was told only one doctor's office on island that can do stitches, and is only open M-F, 9-5 so don't get hurt/sick on weekends or after hours as only other emergency medical is EMT or drive to Brownsville. I called and reported the gate issue to the management office and never heard a response which is why I only gave 4 stars overall.

This was a wonderful property. Very clean, updated, and beautiful. Great location! The easiest check in process I have ever experienced! Gated parking very close to elevators! Very private large balcony. I will definitely stay here again!
