Other Things to Note:
Lexington is a great town. You can hear the high school band playing for football games on Friday nights. Saturdays there’s a busy farmers market with booths, the occasional live music, and plenty of produce, local honey, and artisan merchants. Be sure to get in line early if you have an appetite for the #1-rated BBQ in America—Snow’s. Herk’s does a top-shelf burger and there’s a local meat market in town. There’s a lively cattle auction at the barn every week. You’re equidistant (45 minutes) from the vibrant nightlife of the little big city of College Station, TX, and the urban draw of Austin.
