This is a great house in a wonderful location. A easy walk to the shops or the beach. The house is very well appointed and communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful stay! The house was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend!”
The house is beautiful and the layout is great. The best thing for us was the closeness to everything. It was so nice to be just a quick walk away from the beach and restaurants
We had a great time. Bedrooms on the first floor were a nice surprise. The open floor plan on the second floor was great for hanging out together at the end of the day. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen was more than adequate, stocked with dishes, pots and pans and coffee pot. The beach and Washington Street Mall all within walking distance. Love the beaches as Cape May!
The upside down layout of this home was interesting and overall took some time to get used to. The location is easy walking distance to the beach and shops. We always enjoy our stay in Cape May and this year added to our family’s memories of sandy toes and salty kisses.
We stayed at this house two years ago and loved it, so we came back again. Excellent location, lots of room (there are 8 of us), very comfortable. Close to everything. Nice upstairs patio for morning coffee. Holly is very quick to reply to every inquiry and super nice. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful week down in Cape May at this house. It’s a nice quiet street where the kids can play outside and you don’t have to worry about cars. Perfect location to shops/restaurants and beach. My 4 year old walked the whole way to and from the beach with no problem. The bikes were great for my niece and nephews to ride when they got bored with the family😂 my husband and I rode the bikes every morning to Madison’s bakery for donuts for the kids. They had chairs and a beach wagon for lugging your stuff to the beach.
The house was beautiful and super close to everything - beach, pedestrian mall, Acme grocery. We parked our cars and didn’t move them all week, just walked everywhere! Loved the layout of the house. Some chipped dishes and a few stains on blankets but nbd. There was some construction on a couple of houses next door which was noisy, and a very loud generator (??) building across the street, but mostly we were out and about so it was fine. Really only cared during morning coffee on the porch. Overall, five stars because the great things were great and the minor annoyances were very minor. Thanks so much for having us, Holly!!
Our second year staying at Holly’s place and just as delightful as the first! Amazing location and wonderful house as described. We park the car and don’t use it again till it’s time to go home. Always a pleasure to speak with Holly as well!
We had another wonderful vacation in Cape May. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Convenient location, spacious kitchen/LR/deck. Some dirt/safety issues
The house is spacious for 10 people. Good location, close to the mall, local shops and the beach.
There are 2.5 baths plus shower under house - listing says 4 bathrooms.
Overall the house was clean on the surface but it could definitely use a deep cleaning. Several of the dishes, pots, strainers etc. were grimy. There is a bathroom fan that doesn’t have a cover on it. Out of reach for little kids but unsightly. Some lights don’t turn on.
When we ran our first load, the dishwasher was malfunctioning. The host could not arrange repair until our departure which was a big imposition for our large family attempting to cook for 10.
The only bathtub in the house cannot be filled (stopper broken). This was tough with our younger children who don’t shower.
There was black mold around A/C vents in 2 bedrooms. One of our kids had an allergic reaction after a few days - perhaps because of this.
The kids room (with two sets of bunk beds) is well used and has a grimy play mat “rug” in it. We are not super clean people ourselves but this room was dingy. Our daughter found 2 pacifiers in the bunk bed. One lower bunk is actually a futon that doesn’t fit the bed frame well. Very uncomfortable to sleep on with what feels like a board raised up in the middle of your back.
There is no way to put a baby gate at the top of the steps from the main living area down to the first floor. I would say this house is not friendly to mobile babies until about 6 years old.
Bring your own paper goods. They said they would provide TP and basic soaps. There were 2.5 rolls of TP for 7 days with 10 people and not enough hand soaps.
There isn’t a pantry or any cabinets to store food. Tricky with a lot of people in the house and little ones around.
The loft is much nicer that the photos suggest. It’s a cozy space for reading, puzzles and hanging out. Parents with young kids; the only access to the loft space is metal alternating steps (witches stairs). The edges are left raw which is rather precarious for adults and very dangerous for young kids. We fit a bassinet in the “king” room. Pack and Play might not fit.
The loft is for early risers only as there are no curtains on two of the four large windows.
Several of the smaller bikes are unusable with black mold and flat tires.
The outdoor hammock and downstairs cushions are dirty/moldy, and the tall plantings plus the standing water from the under-house shower seemed to be attracting mosquitoes.
Accurate property description and well maintained.
This is an excellent house for a cape cod getaway. Lower level has three bed rooms: one queen, one king, and one kids room with bunks. The house is well maintained, well cared for, and lovely.
9 of us stayed here for a bachelorette weekend in Cape May and had the best time! We were thoroughly impressed with the house and thought it was even better than advertised. It was in the perfect location and we were able to walk to the beach/bars/restaurants and didn't have to use our cars for the duration of our stay. Holly was VERY responsive leading up to the trip and answered all of my questions. Check-in was super easy with a keypad so no one had to worry about losing keys. Definitely recommend!

Spacious house, great location but not CLEAN
For spring break, my family of four joined another family of four for our first getaway since the pandemic. We selected the home because it advertised as a newly renovated property. For the most part, the home looked like the pictures but it didn’t take long for us to notice the lack of cleanliness. It was in major need of a deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathrooms. Sited food debris, mold (smelled), dust, cob webs and stickiness. We obviously didn’t let this ruin our children’s vacation but we were extremely uncomfortable and unable to relax. I’d also add that it’s not the best home for small children safety wise. This location charges a cleaning fee and BYOL. I’d suggest the owner does a very deep cleaning before renting again. The owner was very responsive and refunded the cleaning fee once we sent concerning photos.
