The property was beautiful. Cabin had everything you could need. Waterfall was only a trickle until we got rain on our last day there. I was so happy to see and hear the waterfall!
What an absolutely beautiful place. So incredibly peaceful and we had such a great time enjoying the back patio. The house had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend!
Amazing. The pictures serve no justice to how amazing the property and house truly are. The host are great and helped me start our weekend with flowers and Champagne. Great experience!
If you’re looking for a very secluded off-road oasis, then this is your destination. This property did not disappoint in our opinion and will be returning.
We loved our stay here. The cabin was very cozy and clean. The outside was unbelievable!!! The waterfall was going during our stay. We were able to just relax, hike, and float the Buffalo River. Would stay here again and have recommended to friends already.
Having rented many VRBO properties over many years, I have to say this cabin and property are one of, if not the best, as well as unique places, my wife and I have ever stayed! The cabin itself is also amazingly clean for a rental property, and the craftsman ship of the exterior area to blend into the surrounding area is without a doubt unapparelled! Then there is the falls, or actually two main falls and a cascading drainage below. We were very fortunate to have rain occur the first night and part of the next day bringing the main waterfall up and causing an "overshot" to the pool below that was mesmerizing! It was very hard to leave and explore the area as it was just so unique there! I will say that we made it to "Alum cove natural bridge recreation area", which was also an unbelievable geological area! If you go there be sure to hike the one-to-one-and-a-half-mile hike which takes you past the main natural arch to an area that is punctuated with smaller arches and overhangs in a bluff ridge along the trail! While we saw several other family's while we were there walking to the Arch, no one hiked the entire trail....and I promise, you won't be disappointed. We definitely hope to return in the spring to stay again! Once again, thanks Doug and Amanda for having this unique and interesting property available to enjoy!
This place is simply amazing!!! We arrived and it was absolutely breathtaking. Take the time to hike further down the creek to see several waterfalls. Crack the bedroom window at night to let the waterfall put you to sleep. It is definitely a small piece of Heaven in the woods.
Absolutely loved the stay. communication was excellent making sure there was detailed directions and made sure we arrived ok. Only wish that there was lights lighting up the creek and waterfall at night.
The location is stunning!!! Everything was exactly as described, and the cabin was so well stocked! The owners were so great in communicating and making sure we got there okay. Such a relaxing and beautiful trip! I would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking to unplug, get away, and relax. The views were the best of any location I’ve ever stayed at!
This was our second time at this special property. It is stunning, tranquil, and serene. It’s the perfect place for us to recharge. The owners are lovely. We love it here.
