Please note that there are toddlers in the house who may wake up early, sometimes as early as 7 AM, and occasionally throughout the night. They usually sleep around 8 PM, and while we do our best to keep the noise down and be respectful of our guests, we apologize in advance for any disturbances. We kindly ask that you keep noise levels low before 8 AM and after 8 PM, though there may be times when the household is a bit noisy.

We have a strict no smoking, vaping, or drug use policy due to the presence of toddlers. This rule applies to the entire property, including the deck, outdoor areas, and even inside your car. This space is exclusively for non-smokers, with no exceptions. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction, and authorities may be contacted as smoking or drug use near toddlers is illegal.

Your private room is perfect for long-term professionals seeking a cozy retreat in Torrance. The room features a Cal King bed, private closet, and two 4-tier shelf units for your belongings. Access is via a steep spiral staircase leading to a shared deck with city views. While assistance can be provided for oversized luggage through the main house, access to the room itself is through the deck stairs only. The mostly private bathroom is located just outside the bedroom, separated by a see-through cat gate in the hallway, and may occasionally be shared with the household. For privacy, please ensure the bathroom door is closed, and we kindly ask guests to refrain from walking through the hallway without proper attire. Additionally, the deck is a shared space, so please avoid being shirtless, in a towel, or otherwise undressed while on the deck.

The central AC and heating system is controlled by the main house, and this room receives the strongest airflow, making it the coolest when the AC is on and the warmest when the heat is on. If you have specific temperature preferences, just let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

For parking, free street parking is available, but please be aware that there is street cleaning twice a week for a few hours. It’s important to read the street signs to avoid tickets. Please note that parking in the driveway is not allowed.

For your safety, the property is equipped with 8 exterior cameras and 1 interior hallway camera. There are no cameras in the bedroom or bathroom. The hallway camera does not see inside the bathroom if the door is closed—please keep it closed for your privacy. Cameras monitor the front door, driveway, side of the house, side gate, Unit B entrance, spiral stairs, yard, and back patio door.

This space is perfect for respectful, working individuals seeking a safe and comfortable place to stay. Access is limited to your bedroom, the bathroom, and the shared deck. The yard and other areas of the house are off-limits to guests. If you have oversized luggage, assistance can be provided to bring it through the main house, though access to the room will still be through the deck stairs.
This is a self check-in property, so you’ll have the freedom to come and go as you please. While you may occasionally see me or the kids in the hallway, we respect your privacy and will always give you space. I won’t engage in small chit-chat, but I’m here to help if you need anything—whether it’s assistance with check-in, providing any missing amenities, or helping with oversized luggage that may be difficult to carry up the spiral stairs. The spiral staircase leading to your room is very narrow and small, and it can be dangerous, especially when going up or down with luggage. It may also become slippery in the rain, so please exercise caution at all times. Additionally, we have a strict no smoking, vaping, or drug use policy, both inside and outside the property, including the deck and your vehicle. This rule is enforced due to the presence of toddlers in the house. Violations will result in immediate eviction and possible involvement of authorities. The deck is shared and features a patio umbrella that should not be touched or opened without requesting my assistance—I will handle that for you. We want to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests.
