Welcome to our spacious 2,600-square-foot home, thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Centered around a charming courtyard with a terrace offering stunning views of the Dundee Hills, this home is perfect for couples touring wine country or groups seeking a tranquil getaway.

As both our former residence and a property we personally manage, we ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and prompt assistance with any questions or issues that may arise.

The home is equipped with all the comforts of a well-loved residence, including high-quality linens, comfortable new furnishings, and a fully stocked kitchen—perfect for preparing home-cooked meals or enjoying a private culinary experience with a chef.

The house features two large bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and private sitting areas, and a cozy third bedroom with a queen-size bed. A second living room offers a peaceful retreat for watching movies, napping, or diving into a good book. With 2.5 bathrooms, including an ensuite with a tub/shower combination and a spacious step-in shower in the second bathroom, the layout is designed for convenience and privacy.

We loved this house! It is in a perfect location with many wineries within a mile of the house. The owners were so easy to work with and very communicative. The views from the house are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and comforting

We enjoyed our entire stay. The home is represented very well online. Very cozy and well stocked home with a great view of the valley. The host was very receptive to all questions and inquiries in a timely manner. We were greeted with a plate of yummy cookies and a bottle of wine on the counter . We informed the host that we would be in late, and she had the home all lit up to make it very easy to see and enter the home. Very clean home with plenty of room for a small family or a few friends. All the amenities that you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms with plenty of extras for cooking. Thank you! We will return!

Beautiful place in the country!

Absolutely beautiful! The property owner really thought of all the little details and didn't leave anything out. The house was very clean and well-maintained with everything you might need, I really felt at home there. So much nicer and more personal than staying in a hotel. The location is in the woods with a view of all the valley from your kitchen window and the deck. We had a great time hanging out on the deck at night and star gazing while enjoying wine from the local wineries. There is even a Bose Bluetooth speaker you can link your music to. The house is out in the country but not far from town. When we drove up a deer was right by the driveway in the woods next to the house. It's not a far drive into Portland for the day either. We got to the house on Saturday morning, after driving all night and the owners were kind enough to let us check-in early. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back again!

Perfect location for Wine Tasting & very close to Dundee

This place was perfect. Very clean, very spacious and had everything we needed. The patio has a great view overlooking the dundee hills. Property managers provided all the info you need both before the stay and in a booklet on the property. They also had water bottles and beers in the fridge for us which was a nice, unexpected touch. I will stay here again in the future with friends.

Great location for our thanksgiving holiday.

We enjoyed the location to wineries both walking and driving distance. The home was well stocked and Liz provided great recommendations to local restaurants and groceries. During our short visit we shopped at northwest seafood which had a great selection of fresh seafood. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully appointed property with expansive views

We loved our stay in this tastefully appointed home. We had a birthday party for our daughter while there and the kitchen is so well equipped I was able to make a three course dinner that required small appliances, several burners, and large stockpots. The bedrooms are large and the beds very comfortable. Chris and Liz are very responsive and are close by for any small adjustments needed. The only thing to consider is that AT &T does not have cell service on this hillside (I am not sure about Verizon) and the DSL internet is very sporadic and with small bandwidth. The TV streaming is fine. So not suitable for a business trip which unfortunately became the case at the last minute for my husband but for leisure you can get away from it all. Then when you are ready for a little action just drive down the hill to the lovely market/restaurant/espresso and/or dressshop in Dundee.

Perfect Dreamy Birthday Getaway

I'm a frequent user of VRBO for my vacation lodging and this was one of the best experiences I've had. I stayed 3 nights in this perfect getaway on a hill in Dundee that overlooks the Willamette Valley wine country. First off, the views from the deck off the dining room were amazing. We had our morning coffee on the deck peacefully overlooking the valley. The home itself was very comfortably furnished with everything you would need. There were only two of us, but we had friends come over for dinner one of the nights. I can imagine that a large family would be more than comfortable staying here. The bedrooms were super cute and very homey in a good way with comfortable beds and linens. It was personal and welcoming.... nothing like a stale and standard hotel room. There were even dark towels for us ladies to use when we wash off our makeup to avoid staining white towels (which were also available). The little details of toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc) were an added bonus. The weather was amazing and we felt secure enough to keep the windows open in the evening to allow the cool brisk fresh air to come in while we slept (a welcome break from the humid heat where I live). While the home was lovely, the location was perfect because of its proximity to many wineries (and there are MANY) in the area. There was plenty of wine tasting within a 10-15 minute drive from the home. We loved that it was away from it all but also close to everything at the same time. We went to the local market / coffee shop each day to pick up snacks for our wine tasting as it was conveniently on the way to wineries. The best part of the stay was before our arrival. Liz provided a very extensive set of recommendations for our trip (wineries, restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store etc) to help in our planning. Providing different options based on our preferences. She was prompt in her reply to every little annoying question I asked. She was extremely patient and was genuinely concerned on making sure I had a great stay. She even had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. They were a perfect treat after a long day of travel and tied us over until dinner. I can't wait to come back to this property again.

We arrived in the evening to find a delightful house in a great location in the Dundee Hills area. Fresh chocolate chip cookies were left with a warm welcoming note. The house is a great layout with a wonderful kitchen and dining room overlooking the hills. Everything we needed was there which made our stay very comfortable. The house is up a hill which overlooks the vineyards. It was such a quiet location that we woke up with our windows open to the sound of a distant rooster and sheep. This house is right in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA of the Willamette wine valley. Multiple wineries are within a couple of miles (Erath, Torii Mor, Lange). Beautiful area with great restaurants in Dundee and Newberg as well. Especially liked the Red Hills Market for morning coffee and pastry items for after wine tasting treats. Dundee Bistro was a very nice lunch stop between tastings as well. Easy day trips were made to the Oregon coast and Mt. Hood. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, peaceful property in a beautiful location

We went up to Portland for a last minute wine trip and were very fortunate to have found this house available to rent. We were welcomed by a plate of homemade treats and a handwritten note. Liz gave us detailed directions to drive in the more scenic way, as well as recommendations on wineries and also places to eat. The house was beautiful and clean and extremely roomy- plenty of space for 6 people to stay, even though it was just the two of us this time. The property is set back up on a hill with a beautiful view out the large windows and is surrounded by many trees and privacy. It has a few neighboring properties as described, but nothing adjacent to the house. We felt very secluded and the area is super quiet. We spent most of our time out enjoying the area wineries and locales. It is a really quaint area and we will absolutely be back and hope to stay here again.

Wonderful home...Highly recommend it!

I couldn't have select a better home for our weekend stay in Oregon wine country with family. Liz, one of the owners, was exceptional to work with and she has decorated the home beautifully. The bedding in all bedrooms are so pretty, but the true test would be how well we slept...we slept great!! We were centrally located to a host of wineries and dining spots. It was a treat to see deer around the property and the views are gorgeous. Thank you Chris and Liz. We hope to stay here again sometime!

Just returned from a long weekend in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon where we stayed at the Chateau Lesieutre guest house. A car is a must as the house is in a slightly remote location atop a hill in Dundee with beautiful views from the deck and kitchen. House is expansive, beautifully maintained and comfortably accommodates 6 adults (although we were only a group of 4). Luxuriously furnished with premium linens and attention to detail you can easily appreciate the owners' desire to make you feel at home. Both Chris and Liz, the owners, live nearby, and they provided excellent recommendations and were always available to answer questions. We're so happy we made the decision to stay here, and will definitely return. Thank you, Chris and Liz.

Great communication from host: accommodated early check in and late check out. Description says that house is set on 5 acres but there are several other properties on the acreage so it's less secluded than originally thought. Tons of space for 6 people, comfortable rooms. Main sections of house do not have privacy shades or blinds and several members of my party were very uncomfortable with this as the house is immediately surrounded by woods. About 10 minutes from Dundee restaurants. Easy check out process.

Perfect wine country retreat

The house is situated in a beautiful location high atop a hill with views for miles. The house has many recent updates and you can tell the owners Chris and Liz take pride and will continue to improve this ideal retreat. The first thing I noticed was how clean the house was. Every inch was spotless. The furniture in every room is comfortable (and new) and the linens on the bed very nice. Plenty of nice grade towels and extra toiletries if you need them. The homemade cookies upon arrival were perfect after having traveled 3.5 in the car and skipping lunch to beat traffic through Portland. Thank you for those lovely touches and comfortable home. I’ll recommend this to everyone I know and we will be back. Chris and Liz are also superb hosts and very helpful.

Great escape for GFU families

We drove into Newberg, picked up our son at GFU and had a great escape, family night at this house. Everything was as described and then some. We had a great night of fellowship, games and just good family time. I would highly recommend this location rather than staying at a hotel and having your kid stay at the dorms on a weekend down to see them. Will stay here again!

Perched atop a small hill in the heart of Dundee Hills, Oregon, Chateau Lesieutre is ranch style house offering 360-degree views of the beautiful wine countryside. Inside, the house is clean, quiet, and spacious; its décor is comfortable yet elegant. There is a full kitchen with all the necessary amenities (dishwasher, full size refrigerator, washer, and dryer) Off the kitchen is a large dining room that can host easily up to ten guests. Attached is spacious deck that overlooks a vineyard. All three bedrooms are large and elegantly decorated. Beds are comfortable with high quality linens and pillows galore! Two full-size redone bathrooms round out the home. Situated right in the heart of Willamette wine country, local vineyards and tasting rooms are all near by as are boutique restaurants. Great getaway and wine tasting

I loved staying in the Willamette Valley! Oregon is a different wine tasting experience especially if you like Pinot Noir. This guest house was perfectly located to tour wineries in Dundee. I felt at home in this spacious, well decorated, and quiet house with beautiful views of the Dundee hills. The house had everything I needed and lovely restaurants and tasting rooms were a short drive away. It was a nice change from wine tasting in Napa which I had done before. I'd recommend the house and the area for a great wine tasting/getaway!

We purchased this property four miles outside of town to be in the hills with the wineries, yet close enough to head into town for fine dining. We love the views of vineyards and surrounding forests, along with peaceful walks on country roads.
