Sehr ruhige Lage. 10 Minuten in der Fussgängerzone zum Plaza Matriz. Rambla und Hafen ebenfalls in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Dachterrasse ist super. Leider viel Wind.

About the host
Hosted by Daina Green
We are a retired couple, who, after many years of travelling in Latin America, decided Montevideo was a great spot to return to. We live most of the year in Toronto, Canada, in a small community that has the good fortune to live in an island park. We skip the Canadian winters and enjoy a second summer in Uruguay every year. But Montevideo is a great city year-round.
Why they chose this property
We live in Canada and wanted to have a permanent place in Montevideo, a city we adore. We have been coming to Montevideo annually for many years. Our apartment is similar in layout to our Toronto home and we find it very comfortable. It is a nice place to share a meal with a few others. And we love waking up to the sight of ships coming into the port of Montevideo.
What makes this property unique
Weekly farmers market at the foot of the building two days a week, and at least 3 excellent restaurants within a block. The nicest park in Montevideo is a half-block away- Plaza Zabala.
