The cottage is named for John James Audubon who stayed at Albania in the 1800s while creating his famous birds of America wildlife series. The cottage is comfortably appointed with a precious kitchen and living area with everything you need to feel right at home. With views of the bayou, the cottage is nestled under centuries old live oak trees and beautifully manicured gardens to enjoy. Relax and unwind, or visit the abundant area attractions, many within a short 12 mile drive in any direction. Closer to home, visit the famed Lejeune's Bakery which is the oldest continuously operating bakery in the U.S. Explore all our sportsman's paradise has to offer along the bayou , the Atchafalaya Swamp and Lake Fausse Point.
