This was the perfect B&B for our family. The rooms were spacious and everything was spotless. There were areas where we could congregate, and areas where we could get away. The house and rooms are much larger than they look in the photos.. the back deck looks out over a large yard and trees surround the house, giving it a feeling of privacy and country living. The kitchen is large and easy to cook in. The price was good when compared with the cost of nearby motels.
Great location, comfortable home, quiet neighborhood
We are two couples who have vacationed together for over 30 years and decided it was time to tackle coastal Maine. This house was perfect for us. First off, the location is great with convenient access to the freeway, walking distance to a grocery store, and a Starbucks coffee shop. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and the house is situated between a neighborhood park, where we caught part of a Little League game, and a local library, which is a good place to read any newspaper you might want. We also found the local farmer's market, where we got advice from locals on things to see. Back to the house - The beds are great, the kitchen is well stocked, and the back porch allowed us to enjoy the cool Maine nights. A bonus was the ability to park in a garage, which was handy during the one big storm that blew through. The owner responded quickly to the questions we had. All in all, the perfect spot.
