About this property
Oasis Escape: Quiet & Convenient
Our recently remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is fully equipped with everything you might need. It's on almost an acre, but conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, the university, and major hospitals.
The full kitchen with dining area offers beautiful views of Saguaro National Park west, and is stocked with utensils and serving ware for the whole group.
The living room features a bright window with views of the Catalina Mountains and a sliding glass door to the back patio and playset so you can keep an easy eye on the kids. There's storage in the couch with comfy blankets, and lots of books on the shelves to keep you entertained. If you need it, there's a smart TV with Netflix and Max ready to go, plus the ability to sign in to your own streaming services. The couch pulls out into a bed for extra sleeping space.
The kids will love it here with the playset in the backyard, loads of kids' books, toys, and a stocked games & puzzles closet!
The kids' room features a bunkbed with twin bed on top and full bed on the bottom, as well as two kid-sized desks and another stocked bookshelf.
The guest room has a queen bed and a desk, plus two dressers.
The hall bath features both a tub and a shower.
The master bedroom features a queen bed, sliding glass door to the back patio, a desk/workspace area, a reading corner, and a 3/4 bath with shower. There's plenty of room for a pack & play (provided) and blackout curtains over the sliding door.
'Outside' is our favorite room in the house! There are covered and uncovered tables and chairs for dining al fresco, or enjoying a cup of coffee. Our amazing sunrises are rivaled only by the amazing sunsets. Southern Arizona is great for bird watching, and we love seeing them and the other wildlife that wanders through our un-fenced yard.
There's lots of off-street parking on the driveway with room for an RV. There are no RV hookups on the property.
You can access the home with an electronic keypad on the front door.

About the host
Hosted by Jamie Warcken

I am originally from Oklahoma and my husband is from North Dakota. We came to Tucson on vacation in 2016 and moved there in 2018. We came for the birds, Saguaro National Park, and the mountains, and stayed for the people.
We love hiking, camping, and backpacking in our national parks, traveling the continent and the world, and unschooling our two young daughters.
We think Tucson is an amazing place to visit, and our home is an awesome place to stay.

Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, with many elderly residents. We adore our neighbors, so please no partying at our house.
What makes this property unique
We love our yard. We sit out back every morning to watch the sunrise, drink our coffee, and listen to the birds. Every night we're out front to watch the sunset. We don't have a fence around the property and we like it that way, for the wildlife that wanders through. In winter, we love doing puzzles and playing board games in front of the fireplace.
