About this property
Amenities abound at this Clean, Safe Home! Worry-Free, Relaxing Time Away!<br>
This attractive, roomy two-story home overlooks a lovely man-made lake. Spacious, uncluttered rooms with high ceilings and unique decor with a southwestern flavor. Large windows throughout the house bring in the light and enhance the openness of the home's design.
As hosts, we supply the home with clean bed and bath linens and swim towels, along with dishes, cooking utensils, appliances and more for cooking and dining-in. We provide dish soap, laundry soap, liquid hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels for your use. Please provide your own toiletries.
We also keep some basic spices and condiments on hand (dates are checked regularly). Bring or purchase whatever food and drinks you plan to consume during your stay. There are Safeway, Sprouts, Albertson's, Aldi, and Fry's grocery stores close by. Bulk stores such as Costco, Sam's Club and Winco, are also close; find directions on your GPS or call us.
Panoramic Wifi provides excellent internet coverage throughout the house, and allows for catching up on work or email, gaming, and chatting with friends or family who weren't lucky enough to come along.
Massive Primary bedroom suite with king-size bed, balcony, sitting room with flat-screen TV, huge bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub, and walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms offer queen beds; a fourth bedroom has a double bed, to provide comfortable sleeping room for eight guests in four bedrooms. Main floor bedroom (with queen bed and private TV) also has its own bathroom; the two other bedrooms upstairs share an ample bathroom with tub & shower, two sinks and plenty of counter space.
Morningside backyard includes access to the lake (non-swimming) and a small peddle boat. All season, heatable pool and spa, comfortable covered patio with furniture for eating or lounging, large barbecue grill (gas), and space to soak up some Arizona sunshine. NOTE: Be sure to let us know if you want the pool and spa heated. (See details below.)
When you've had enough sun, step inside to air-conditioned comfort; the patio and all rooms are also equipped with ceiling fans. Or turn on the heat to chase away the mid-winter night time chill.
You’re welcomed into an inviting living/dining room combination, and then a sprawling great room. Enjoy a large, well-equipped kitchen area with granite counters, new induction range, modern appliances, lots of work space, and a beautifully unique copper-top kitchen table. The great room includes a billiard table and large curved-screen smart TV with internet connectivity so you can watch your favorite programs. (The bedroom TVs are also smart TVs, with internet and Roku.) You may log into your streaming accounts; please remember to log out when you leave. Use Pay-per-view at your own expense, please.
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the midst of the Ocotillo development, you can golf the nearby courses. Use the peddle boat just to paddle around and feel the pleasure of nature and blue sky; or to fish in the lake (catch & release only).
This home is situated right off of both Alma School Road and Ocotillo Road. There are many nice restaurants and plenty of shopping close by. For convenience, comfort, amenities and access, you've found the perfect spot for your vacation!
-->IMPORTANT POOL HEATING INFORMATION: There is a separate, privately paid fee to heat the pool and spa during the winter season, when the days are lovely but the nights are chilly and so is the water! Here is the fee breakdown: Pool and spa - $320 for up to 4 days; $475 up to a week. $65 per day thereafter.
Spa alone- $150 up to 4 days; $240 up to a week. $35 per use thereafter.
Pool alone - $250 up to four days; $450 up to a week. $60 per day thereafter.
You may also request the option to pay $40 per hot tub use, up to four hours per use session. (Hot tub must be turned off by 10 pm for the sake of neighbors, city regulations, and pool cleaning operation. ) You may also pay $75 per day for pool alone, $110 per day for pool & spa heat, spa for four hours per day only. (This is the least economical method, but an option for short stays.) Please contact the owner in advance to make arrangements. NOTE: Continuous hot tub heating is cost-prohibitive and not an option, as the system is not capable of such; it’s not an industrial system. Also, the pool and spa can’t heat at the same time, so a schedule is necessary.
We apologize for this expense, but it’s unavoidable for swimming in the desert in winter. (Our cost is much higher!)<--
PLEASE NOTE LINENS POLICY: We will take the cost of towel and bedding replacement from the damage deposit if these are ruined during your stay. We kindly remind you as guests, this is a home, not a hotel. Our policy is strict due to avoidable damage. We keep paper towels and plenty of old towels on hand to wipe spills or floors, and black makeup cloths to remove makeup. The old towels for spills and cleanup can be found in the bathrooms under the sinks, and in the laundry room cupboard under the sink. There is peroxide and other cleaners if you need to treat blood stains on sheets. Thank you for your understanding and for taking care of our home as our guests.

About the host
Hosted by Karla or Tim Cox
My husband Tim and I raised a large family, and we now are busy with our work, personal pursuits and spending time together. We especially like to be with our children and grandchildren to enjoy each other and make memories. We often gather at vacation rentals, so we decided to offer our home for the same pleasant experiences for others that we have when we're together.
Why they chose this property
We love coming to Arizona, and this home is so relaxing! We enjoy the beautiful lake, cooking together in the kitchen, and the spacious rooms. We love the pool and spa. The setting can't be beat; you feel like you are at a resort, while enjoying the comforts of home. We like to get away to Arizona, and we think you will too!
What makes this property unique
The home is near everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Both Sky Harbor and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airports are less than a half hour away. There is golfing, hiking or shopping, and Spring Baseball (with major and minor league practice) is all around. Chandler boasts many great restaurants. But there are also endless options nearby in Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, and other surrounding cities.
This home is decorated in a comfortable Southwestern style, with leather furniture and rustic touches, and no shortcuts on quality or comfort. The heated pool is a definite bonus during chilly winter days and nights, and not often an option at homes for rent. Spend some time paddling around the lake in the paddle boat. It is great in the morning or early evening. Greet the neighbors and feel like you're at home.
