Nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Stinson Lake provides endless fun and activities year round. Swimming, boating and fishing in summer and skating, skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing in winter. Stinson mountain (2900 feet elevation) trailhead is less than a mile walk away, or start your 3 mile round trip hike from the parking lot and enjoy the views from the top. Take a bicycle ride to the waterfall at the other side of the lake. Rumney is New England's rock climbing haven if you're into climbing. If you're looking for quiet downtime, enjoy peace and quiet on the patio watching the hummingbirds Enjoy a good book or a jig-saw puzzle on a rainy day

Raised in the country and living in some of the biggest cities across the US, we always found our way back to the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire. We love music, mountains, friends and farming.
Why they chose this property
My wife and I had been vacationing at Stinson Lake since the late 1980s and when an opportunity came up to buy a second home here, we jumped at the chance. There is truly something very unique about this location. This is one of the cleanest lakes in New Hampshire and the mountain air just makes for a surrealistic atmosphere. Leaving the lake is always the hardest part

This area uniquely borders the famous White Mountains for the best hiking in New Hampshire, Rumney Rocks known for climbing throughout the country, Away from it all, yet welcoming top notch restaurants, music, theatre and shopping is less than 30 minutes away.
