This is a very cute house and was perfect as a location for my bridesmaids and I to stay and to get ready for my wedding. Phillip is very communicative and we had a great stay!

Really great stay with my 2 dogs. The beds were clean and comfortable. I don’t know that I would pick it for a romantic getaway, but for my purposes it was perfect. Appreciated the off street parking, fenced yard, and overall layout.

The beds were very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be beat—not only close to downtown, but Montrose is a wonderfully quirky neighborhood with interesting restaurants and shops. The home has all the features one would expect from (guessing) a home built in the 1920s…a beautiful stained glass window and fun (probably not functional—but it’s Houston!) fireplace.

The pictures of this house have to be modified or 10 years old. Pealing paint outside. Inside wallpaper that is peeling up. The flooring is peeling up and many soft spots in the floor. Insulation hanging from the crawlspace closure. Mold around the bathroom vents. They may need to check the toilet it seems to wobble a lot! The beds were clean and there were plenary of towels. However this remodeled house was poorly remodeled and is now showing of age. The communication was good as they were responsive for check in and booking.

This was the perfect stay for what we needed. I had a couple of days of medical testing over at M.D. Anderson, and my wife and I always try to bring our two dogs when traveling. The rental home is only about 15 minutes from the Medical Center Area which was very convenient. There are also quite a few good restaurants within just a few minutes’ drive. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, and the entire yard (front, back, and sides) is completely fenced off and was perfect for our dogs. In fact, you can drive through an automatic garage door on the left side of the house and directly into back yard area, so when your dogs exit the vehicle, they’re already completely enclosed in the fence which is in excellent shape and totally tight (i.e., no gaps or holes). The rental is clearly an older home, but everything was is in good working order. The bed and pillows appeared to be brand new. The host was excellent at communicating and very responsive. Overall, this was a very good rental and fit our needs perfectly.
