Beautiful views and home. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Solitude. Saw a few bald eagles and deer from the porch. Some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch as well. Interior of the house was amazing. Anita the host gave great recommendations too
Everything about this place was beyond my expectations. The comfort with the view and how many amenities are provided with this listing makes it just like staying at your own home but with a more serene setting. Anita was communicative, helpful and even left us a loaf of homemade banana bread that my daughter was begging me to get the recipe . I can’t recommend this place anymore. We also went to Red Lodge for a day trip which was an easy 50min drive and drove the beartooth highway which is also a must do!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! My favorite times of the year are early spring and late fall. Come back and view the colors. River roars in the spring! Hope you have a safe trip back home.
I truly can’t say enough good things about this incredible cabin in Nye. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The cabin was immaculately clean — not a speck of dust anywhere. Every surface, appliance, and linen felt brand new. You can tell the owner Anita takes great pride in maintaining it at the highest standard. What really set this place apart was the overabundance of amenities. It felt like a luxury retreat tucked into the Montana wilderness. The kitchen was fully stocked with high-end cookware, spices, coffee, and even extras like a blender, waffle maker, and an air fryer. There were games, books, cozy throws, firewood, toiletries, and more — truly everything you could possibly need or want, and then some. It felt like staying in someone’s cherished home rather than a generic rental. The setting is nothing short of magical. Nestled right on the Stillwater River, the peaceful sounds of rushing water created a backdrop of pure serenity. We spent mornings sipping coffee on the deck watching deer wander by, and evenings under the stars listening to the river and the wind through the trees. It was the kind of quiet that instantly melts stress away.If you’re looking for a place to recharge, reconnect with nature, and enjoy all the comforts of home (and more), this cabin is it. I already can’t wait to come back.

We love hiking, biking, and simply unwinding by the water's edge.
We raised our family here, and our five grandchildren are the greatest joy of our lives. As your hosts, we’re excited to share the peace, beauty, and adventure Montana has to offer. Whether you're here to explore or just relax, we hope you feel right at home.
Why they chose this property
What we love most about Midnight Canyon is the peaceful beauty and deep connection to nature it offers. Known for its exceptionally dark skies, it’s a haven for stargazers—on clear nights, the Milky Way shines bright overhead. Fishing is right out your back door, and the sunsets are nothing short of breathtaking, with mountain silhouettes and golden light dancing across the tall native grasses.
Adventure is always close by with Jeep and ATV trails just a few miles away, and you can e-bike straight from the house. Hiking opportunities are endless, with nearby trails to Woodbine Falls, Myers Creek, Beehive Rock, and into the rugged beauty of the Beartooth Mountains. The world-renowned Tippet Rise Art Center is just a short drive away for a unique mix of culture and landscape.
Wildlife is abundant—expect to see turkeys, deer, rabbits, eagles, geese, ducks, and even the occasional elk or bear. Midnight Canyon truly offers the best of Montana’s wild and wonderful lifestyle.
What makes this property unique
