Perfect location as steps beach is a about a 10 minute walk and town is about 22 minutes. Recommend renting bikes so you can alternate between walking and riding as well as bike around the whole island. The house is very spacious and we had plenty of room. Really is a perfect Nantucket house and location.

The house was a fantastic design for our multi-generation family. The location was perfect, we biked and walked everywhere all week. The patio view was particularly stunning and secluded so we didn’t hear neighbors. Highly recommend.

What a great stay! The house was absolutely perfect. Easy bike to town, and removed enough to have some serenity in the afternoons and evenings. The house layout was perfect with two master suites on either side of the house which was perfect for the family! Plenty of beach everything which was so appreciated and the decor and openness of the house was so thoughtful and inviting.

Perfect location, beautiful & clean home

Perfect location and lovely home. Was very clean and comfortable. The host and caretaker were very responsive and helpful. Only suggestion would be to supply basic items for guests (dishwasher fluid, laundry detergent, trash bags, extra toilet paper in bathrooms, shampoo, conditioner & body wash).

Perfect Stay on Nantucket!

We had a fantastic week on Nantucket at Tom and Jane's home. Close to town and the beach, but sits on a quiet and private road with a beautiful view! The house was outfitted with everything you could possibly need during your stay, and was in pristine condition when we arrived. Tom was so helpful leading up to our stay and made himself available in case we needed anything while there. Can't say enough good things--hope we have the chance to stay at their home again next summer!

Family Vacation

Two couples + two 20 year olds + one 2 year old. The place is bigger than it looks in the photos. The back deck was ideal for sunset dinners. The kitchen is well stocked and it was easy to cook dinner for the entire family. We love the location, near many beaches and easy walk into town, about 20 minutes. This house feels big and accommodated us comfortably

SpectACKular stay on Pilgrim Road

I reserved dates at 30 Pilgrim 10 months prior to our stay because we had no flexibility with our dates. Over those months, Tom, our host, never failed to be responsive, informative, and thoughtful. The house was perfectly laid-out for our party of 7, including two couples who each had a private master bedroom. I loved the location: walking distance from town and on a marsh filled with bird life. Highly recommended!

6/10 Okay

Spacious house in great location, but slightly misleading photos and description

Very spacious house in an ideal location (minutes to town and beaches). Two of the bedrooms are located in the basement of the house which has a moldy odor. There is also no backyard (the deck overlooks a swampy field area with a lot of brush). We rented during a particularly hot week and the A/C did not work properly in one of the main zones of the house and the house caretaker was unable to provide any solution which was awful for our kids/baby. The entrance to the house from the street also requires you to step down 3 wobbly/uneven stone steps which was unsafe for us since we have small children. This house is ideal if you want a spacious house in a good location where you won't spend a lot of time.

We are sincerely disappointed to learn that parts of your stay fell short of your expectations and are sorry that you did not enjoy the views from the deck (conservation land) of which we are very proud. Our caretaker responded to your call immediately and has since investigated your comments with professional trades people where appropriate. We have contacted you directly to seek clarification about our photos and description and would be happy to listen to any further suggestions.

This home was beautiful and very spacious. We had a college reunion with 5 woman and everyone was happy with the bedroom setup. 3 women had their own rooms and 2 women shared a room. Our time was great and we had no problems. The location was a little far to walk to town so we rented a car. All and all a fantastic time in Nantucket!
