The building and apartment were very nice with an excellent view of the downtown Minneapolis skyline. Having a second vehicle was a challenge as there is only one space in the secure garage and a second vehicle needs to park outside. Also, guests who do not like traffic noise should be aware that this apartment immediately overlooks I-94. But again, it was a very comfortable, secure place with amazing views.
The property was certainly not an upscale urban retreat. It is on the periphery of the downtown area - not walking distances to the dining, entertainment or business areas. It was more like a Residence Inn in terms of apartment features - a few plates, a couple glasses, coffee maker, but nothing like other VRBO properties we've stayed at in the past Our guests elected to stay at hotels for 3 of the 4 nights we booked: the first because the smoke detector battery warning was chirping (and the owner couldn't get it fixed in time) and the second and third because the electricity was being shut off due to a scheduled maintenance repair (transformer replacement). In summary, a terrible experience if planning a vacation experience The Owner offered to help compensate for the experience, but that's not why people choose VRBO So much for the "with you for the Stay" tagline. It all comes down the Owner, research and luck. I was unlucky and did not get much help.
The place was very clean and close to everything we were planning on doing! We highly recommend!

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The main issues with this property is that the pictures are not an accurate representation of the condition of the place. Yes, the views are fantastic and the location was ideal for where we had to be in Minneapolis. However, there were some things about the apartment that were flat out disgusting. The TV in the primary bedroom was gone, just the mount on the wall. The TV in the second bedroom did not have a remote. The TV in the living area did not have batteries. Some aspects of the apartment were in disrepair such as holes in the wall and holes in the cabinetry. There were also stains of bodily fluids on the pillows as well as the mattress. The towels in the bathrooms were old and simply just looked gross. There were so many stains on the couch that we never sat on it. Also, the road noise was as advertised, considering the apartment is directly behind the highway. Lastly, the area outside the apartment building was less than stellar. It looks good in photos, but you had to keep your head on a swivel.
Gorgeous space with an amazing view of downtown. Ample kitchen space and tools for cooking a meal. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Loved the coziness of the living area. Easy check in process too with clear instructions and no issues entering the property or garage. Will definitely consider staying here again!
Condo was spacious, lots of light and in a great location. Host promptly replied to questions and checked on our stay.

The apartment has a fabulous view. We visited during a very snowy weekend, we appreciated the indoor garage parking. Here are things that could be improved for future guests. The code for lockbox provided in the PDF was not accurate. I had to reach out to Traveler's comfort for assistance after several minutes of struggle with the wrong code. Same for wifi-incorrect code. Cleanliness and disrepair are top categories that were lacking. Corners of rooms had dust, hair and leftover cleaner fluid. Primary bathroom provided no hand soap in the container at the sink, but instead it was located in the container marked "conditioner" in the shower- figured this out after putting it in my hair. A used eye contact was stuck to the wall 2 feet above the garbage in bathroom.Ground coffee and coffee pot filters provided, but no regular coffee pot. A knock-off brand Keurig did not accept the coffee pod size that we had brought. Stove drawer askew, microwave cover fell off several times. Bedside lamps were ineffective, one of them didn't work at all. Two remote controls provided for three TVs, but only one of them worked. No kitchen towels/washrags. Broken window shade chain and 5 large divots in the drywall under the TV where the hanging shelf is seen in the thumbnail photo. Fridge froze our veggies and drinks. Very wobbly dining room chairs.Great view of the city and excellent location. Delicious chicken at Mother Cluckers and coffee at Top of the Muffin just two blocks away.
