This quiet, 129-acre lake is part of the famous Three Lakes Chain—29 connected lakes offering endless fun for every season. Whether you’re here to fish, kayak, swim, or just relax, our lakefront home has everything your family needs to make memories year-round.
With about 90 feet of level lake frontage, a permanent dock for your boat, and a big grassy yard for games and campfires, you’ll love the space to play and unwind. Inside, enjoy 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room with electric fireplace, a mudroom for your gear, and a game room with pool table, foosball, and darts. Sleeps 6 comfortably with queen beds, twin bunk beds, and a full bed — plus fast WiFi to keep everyone connected.
Explore the Northwoods — Four Seasons of Fun!
Spring & Summer: Dive into swimming, tubing, kayaking, and fishing on the crystal-clear lakes. Launch your boat right from the dock and explore the whole Three Lakes Chain. Spend sunny days playing lawn games or relaxing by one of the two fire pits.
Fall: The Northwoods come alive with vibrant fall colors — perfect for scenic hikes, biking along the Three Eagle Trail just across the highway, or peaceful moments by the fire. Local farmers’ markets and festivals add seasonal charm.
Winter: Cozy up and enjoy snowy adventures! The Three Eagle Trail is right across the street for snowmobiling fun. Try ice fishing on Range Line Lake or neighboring lakes, and warm up inside by the electric fireplace after a day outside. Skiing, snowshoeing, and cozy family game nights make winter magical here.
Inside the Home — Comfort & Play for All Ages
Main Level: Step into a mudroom perfect for snowmobile gear or sandy beach toys. Relax in the living room with an electric fireplace, smart TV, recliners, and a pullout couch. The dining area seats six and opens onto a deck with a grill—perfect for cookouts and outdoor fun. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up family favorites, and there are two queen bedrooms plus a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower.
Lower Level: Two more bedrooms await — one with four twin bunk beds (kids will love this!) and one cozy full bed room. Both have fans for comfort in warmer months. The game room is packed with fun: pool table (that converts to ping pong), foosball, dartboard, TV with DVD player, and a small couch. There’s also a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Extras to Make Your Stay Easy
We provide all linens, pillows, blankets, towels, and kitchen essentials so you can travel light. Fiber internet with 300 Mbps keeps everyone connected for streaming or remote work.
Yard & Waterfront — Your Outdoor Playground
Enjoy the dock, gazebo, and grassy yard perfect for a game of bags, frisbee, or relaxing in the sun. Grab tubes, kayaks, paddles, and inflatables from the shed for a splash-filled day. Gather around one of two fire pits — one lakeside, one near the house — with chairs ready for cozy evenings under the stars. The lawn slopes gently to a sandy swimming area (Range Line Lake's shoreline is all natural so you will find some grass/weeds in the water, mainly to the dock’s right side). The deck and charcoal grill make outdoor meals a breeze.
Guest Access & Parking
Self check-in with door codes and WiFi info sent about one week before arrival. The circular driveway offers plenty of parking—please park only in marked spots to protect the septic system. Two garage-front spots are available, and trailers for boats or snowmobiles can easily navigate the loop.

About the host
Hosted by Bertram Lyons

Lisa and Bert live in Madison, WI with our two kids. We get up to Three Lakes as much as we can, but when we're not using the cabin, we love sharing it with others so that they can enjoy all that the area has to offer!
Why they chose this property
There are some great areas in the Northwoods, but what we love most about the area of Three Lakes is that you have a true and vibrant small town (Three Lakes) surrounded by the largest chain of lakes in the world (Three Lakes Chain). You can enjoy an uncrowded and peaceful location, you can access all the water you could need for fishing, swimming, or boating (and snowmobiling, cross-country skiing), but you can still make the short drives over to Eagle River or Minocqua or Saint Germain for additional fun. You really can enjoy the best of what the Northwoods has to offer and without the crowds.
What makes this property unique
Our Three Lakes Cottage offers a long and shaded lawn between the cabin and the lake that gives you space to stretch out and not feel claustrophobic while at the lake. We have a great screened-in gazebo by the lake to provides opportunities for hanging out by the water, listening to music, grilling brats, etc. Range Line Lake itself offers such a peaceful combination of swimming, boating (paddle or motor), fishing, while making it quick and easy to connect with larger waterways if desired. For those days when it's too wet or just too cold to be outside, we have an amazing game room in the cabin for all ages - pool table, foosball table, darts. You really can make the most of your time up north at our cabin!
