Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The property itself is really pretty, however the owners are terrible. Their communication is horrible and expect to have to keep following up with them for everything. We weren't sent check in information on time and had to call to receive it. When we got there, the hear wasn't working and it was 60 degrees in the house. It took hours to get a response from the manager and another few hours for the house to get heated. We had also requested a late checkout the same week as we booked the house and we're told to confirm the day before. We followed up again, confirming we want a late checkout, but didn't receive any response from the owner, so assumed that it wasn't an issue since we'd agreed to pay for the extra time. The morning of checkout, the manager came on the morning yelling at us because it was post 10 am. He had not been informed of the late checkout AND told us the owners had accepted a last minute reservations so we couldn't stay longer anymore. We were forced to pack up and leave within an hour, and the owners were absolutely unhelpful, rude, and took zero accountability for their lack of communication and the immense inconveniences and extra charges we had to incur because of their complete lack of communication. It's simply not worth it. If you want to have to keep messaging and calling the owners to have anything done, this is for you. If you want to relax, be treated fairly and respectfully, find some other place.
