Two floors, two entrances, two kitchens. Each level has its own way in and its own full kitchen, which is why this house works so well for two families or three generations travelling together. Take a floor each, cook separately, meet at the pool. There's a main entrance too if you'd rather use the house as one.

Worth knowing before you book: four of the ten sleeping spots are in the living room rather than a bedroom.

Laundry on both floors — a dedicated room upstairs and a second setup in the garage. On a week-long trip with ten people, this is the amenity you'll be most grateful for.

The backyard is yours alone: pool (unheated, and swimmable most of the year here), a furnished gazebo, charcoal and gas grills, an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, and pool floats. The breeze comes straight off Hutchinson Island — it's where everyone ends up in the evening.

Driveway parking for 5 vehicles. Towing a boat or trailer? Bring it — you can park it here as long as it fits and doesn't block access, which is rarer than you'd think this close to the inlet.

What's around you · The beach — a 10–15-minute walk, 3–5 minutes by car, or a quick ride on one of the bikes in the garage. · Frederick Douglass Memorial Park — 9 minutes away, and one of the only beaches in Florida that permits horseback riding. Guided beach rides can be booked with a local outfitter. · Fort Pierce inlet — offshore charters, jet ski rentals, boat tours, and some of the best fishing on the Atlantic coast. · Indian River Lagoon — the most biodiverse estuary in North America. Manatees, dolphins, and mangrove islands. · Downtown Fort Pierce — the Saturday waterfront farmers market is one of Florida's best, plus the Sunrise Theatre and the National Navy SEAL Museum just north.

The garage is stocked for you: bikes, beach chairs, beach gear, an inflatable kayak, pool floats, and board games.

A few housekeeping closets stay locked during your stay, and the garage stores amenities rather than cars — the driveway handles parking for 5.

Family reunions, multi-generational trips and group getaways are exactly what this house is for. No parties or events, please — and we ask that everyone staying is on the reservation. Four of the ten sleeping spots are in the living room rather than a bedroom. The pool isn't heated, though South Florida's climate makes it swimmable most of the year. The garage stores guest amenities and isn't available for parking; the driveway holds 5 vehicles. This is a Florida beach property — rain, humidity, and the occasional insect come with the coastline. Checking out is easy: towels in the laundry areas, trash out, A/C set, doors locked. Bikes, kayak and beach gear are used at your own risk — please wear the life vests provided.
