Welcome to this cute and cozy lakeside home located in the quiet channel between the upper and lower Twin Lakes. Two bedrooms plus a loft space provides the opportunity for the perfect sleeping arrangement for your group. The adorable kitchen and living room looks out onto the deck with dining set and Blackstone grill for your outdoor cooking needs. Enjoy fishing from the dock, watching the grey herons and ospray or other wildlife. The welcoming beach area and convenient outdoor shower create the perfect Summer setting for playing in the water or just relaxing. Feel free to use the provided kayaks and paddle boards to explore the channel and adjacent lakes. The cabin is a perfect blend of modern and mid-century furnishings and decor. Close to Silverwood, hiking, Coeur d'Alene, other lakes and the fun little town of Rathdrum. Parking for 2 vehicles and boat trailer.

Cozy family cabin on the water with everything you need!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lakeside cabin. The layout was so nice for everyone to have their own space and the cabin was extremely well stocked! The hosts even blessed us by purchasing beverages for adults and kids. We saw so much wild life from the deck. We also loved using the kayaks and fishing from the dock! Only a 20 minute drive to Silverwood. We would definitely go back!

Perfect for our stay!

We loved this property! The upstairs was perfect for my three kids and the two additional rooms with Queen beds worked for us. I found the bed to be comfortable and with the windows opened the bedroom stayed cool. The deck overlooking the channel between Twin Lakes was a great place to relax. The fireplace and nighttime s’mores was a highlight of our trip. The property was conveniently located only a short 18 minute drive to Silverwood Theme Park. The bathroom was cozy and there is only one, so with any more of us, this may have been an issue. Overall, the location was perfect for us, it was well equipped with plenty of clean towels and other supplies. The host was great and I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. Tucked away on the water, this beautiful Idaho cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The setting was serene, peaceful, and incredibly picturesque—like something out of a dream. Waking up to the sound of the water, enjoying coffee on the deck with mountain views, and cozy nights by the fire with friends made the entire trip unforgettable.But what made this trip truly special is that it was where I proposed to the love of my life. With close friends there to celebrate and nature surrounding us in its purest form, it felt like the moment was pulled straight from a movie. The cabin gave us the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and magic—we’ll never forget it.Thank you for providing the space where one of the biggest moments of our lives could unfold. We’ll definitely be back—this place now holds a very special place in our hearts.

Our family had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s only about a 15 minute drive to Silverwood. We just had a hard time wanting to leave the lake because it was so beautiful. Tons of fish, ducks, turtles, squirrels, wild turkeys and blue heron. We even passed a house with two camels on our way to Silverwood & heard there was a Mama and baby Moose nearby but we didn’t see them. I could’ve happily sat out on the back deck and watched animals all day. Communication was wonderful from beginning to end. The owners are very thoughtful and the cabin was fully stocked with everything. So many amazing touches that made you feel like you were at home. We had a blast using the kayaks and paddle boards. They have everything you need for fishing, watching movies, playing games. Just sitting on the dock was peaceful and enjoyable. It’s just a quick paddle out of the canal to the big beautiful lakes. It really is a beautiful little piece of paradise right there.Thank you for the wonderful memories and thoughtful extras. We’d love to stay longer next time

We grew up in Elk, Washington and now live in the Green Bluff area. Our love of outdoor activities had us on the area Lakes most of the Summer. Our dream has been to own a lake home and we love it so much, we would love to share it with others during the times we are not using it.

Why they chose this property

Twin Lakes is a fun and relaxing community. The two lakes that make up Twin Lakes and the channel connecting them provides something for everyone. You can find the perfect area for fishing or kayaking or paddle boarding or water sports or lake cruising or golfing or just relaxing on the water. It is a hidden gem that we are so happy we found. The little town of Rathdrum is just a few minutes away with shopping, restaurants, parks and activities.

What makes this property unique

Our cozy cabin was built in 1953 and recent full renovation kept a lot of the original features and added in the modern conveniences. You will see the love and work that went into building it in the 50's with the had chipped stairs leading down to the home, doors, floors, the wall in the main bedroom and the outdoor fireplace built on the rocky shore that became the namesake of the property. The location on the no wake channel creates a relaxing atmosphere to watch the grey herons, ducks, ospray, eagles, birds and the humans passing by in various watercraft. Fishing for bass, perch and blue gills of the shore and dock is convenient and always produces. The sandy beach and rocky shoreline is fun to play and explore. And who doesn't enjoy an outdoor shower? A nice way to wash off the day and prepare for the evenings activities on the deck dimly lit with string lighting and a Blackstone grill to create your evening meal on. We are very fortunate to have found a property with parking, access, rustic charm that is right next to the water.
