The check in was easy especially with the detailed information on the location as it is hard to find. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we had a problem with the toilet that resulted that we didn’t have a functional toilet. After reporting it to the host, we received a message thanking us for informing him of the issue. There was no further contact and it was not resolved to our knowledge.

Everything was clean and the space was perfect for 1. I’m sure it would be great for 2 as well. The only thing is the place is super creepy at night, but that’s really just a me issue. The door has a frosted glass window and so does the window in the bathroom, which i found to be quite scary at night considering the area behind the house and garage is wooded and pitch black at night. I think just some curtains would fix the issue. The curtains on the sliding door that leads to the patio/balcony are sheer which I also found creepy at night. I was staying by myself so that didn’t help. Any way, no issues other than that. Would stay again if I was traveling with a friend.

Nice and cozy. Just far enough away from town to feel “away from it all,” yet close enough that it’s not a haul to get into town. The place is very clean, with all the basic essentials you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. My ONLY warning is it is a garage apartment. Very low ceilings. I’m 6’5” and I walked around the last 3 days with head tilted. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and I’d book this place again.

Great house. It is above a garage with steep stairs. Low ceilings so be careful if you are over 6’. I’m 5’09” and it was fine. Good location.
