Originally from Western NY, I have called Dominican Republic "casa" since 1995. I am married to a German and have 2 nationally-confused (USA, Germany, DR) children. Working in Destination and Event Management, I could live anywhere, but choose Cabarete.
Why they chose this property
Quiet and safe, family-oriented condo complex right in the center of Cabarete predominately populated with Canadian snowbirds DEC to MAR whom are generally looking for a nice tan, a large cocktail and an early dinner. APR to NOV is a mixed bag of international guests that seem to keep to themselves.
What makes this property unique
3-bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, a/c, washing machine, internet and 3 tvs in a gated complex with reception, 24-hour security and pool at affordable rate IN THE CENTER of Cabarete is a true unicorn. Medical doctor's office, laundry, esthetic services, masseuse and hair salon on all on the same property. Belgian bakery and bank across the street. Beach is 6-minute walk.
