Big, cozy, high ceiling apartment on top of a Colonial House in excellent location San Miguel Chapultepec. Chimney, Dinner Table for 6 pax, Big Couches, fully equipped kitchen. Big terrace with lots of plants. King Size Bed, nice furniture, 80 inch TV and all services. Entrance through the main House. Weekly renters welcome! Long Term Renters super welcome. We are looking for tranquil singles, couples or families to have their private apartment, though the entrance is through a Colonial Big House.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all the apartment has to offer. This includes a big sunny terrace with lots of plants.
Guest interaction
We interact with guests upon their arrival and on their way out. The apartment is on top of a house where my mom Carmen lives so on your way in and out there´s a chance you´ll see her. The top part is basically private, but either my mom or one of the girls comes up for 15-20 minutes daily to water the plants... The apartment is totally private. We want you to feel at home.
Neighborhood overview
Tacubaya is an old colonial town turned into a urban neighbourhood inside of San Miguel Chapultepec. Tacubaya is in the center of mayor activity, comercial and cultural areas in Mexico City. Comercial Zone Polanco, Cultural and Gastronomic Condesa, Night Live Colonia Roma, are just 10 minutes away by car. Cultural Coyoacán, Old Town San Ángel and Zocalo Old Quarter are just 20 minutes away either by taxi or Subway. Subway (Juanacatlán or Tacubaya) are 10 minutes away and so are a couple coffee shops, deli market, street tacos, tortas and Sanborn´s Mexican Food Chain. Supermarket is five blocks away. There are 3 coffee shops in the surrounding blocks. Juice stand, quesadillas stand and other services like the bank. The market is a few blocks away, where one can eat or buy groceries. Supermarket is a few blocks away as well. Parque Lira park is a block away. The Chapultepec Park is a few blocks away and so is the Castle and Museum... definitely a touristic attraction.
Getting around
There are taxi stands around and also two subway stations. Public bikes are three blocks away.
Other things to note
We are looking for tranquil people. Guests are welcome, but parties or loud music are discouraged. For big reunions we ask for a heads up. The second room is ideal for children or visitors. TV ads are filmed occasionally in the house, so there is a chance you might run into one. These are filmed in the house below. Whenever there is a TV ad filmed we will reimburse the money for that day for any inconvenience that might arise. We have a parking space for a regular sized car inside the house with an electric controller. Housekeeping is provided once a week. We can negotiate more days and adapt to your needs.
