We are long-time visitors to the Vail Valley, and were looking for a spacious place to rent for a “restorative” stay in the mountains. We came across this place on VRBO and although we weren’t previously familiar with East Vail, renting here turned out to be the best decision ever! The home’s interior features lots of rooms spread out across 2.5 levels. It’s bright, airy, and most importantly, it felt fresh and new inside. Everything’s been updated from the bathrooms to the living areas, and there’s plenty of room for groups to gather or private nooks to just hang out. The kitchen had everything we needed (except a toaster oven) and we didn’t need to bring anything with us. We liked the soaring gas fireplace and loved having air conditioning (rare in the mountains). The backyard features two seating areas, and is totally fenced and private. We used it every day and didn’t worry about any critters. The hot tub is just off the kitchen - really convenient . We were steps from the (free) Vail bus stop which made getting into Vail Village an easy 8-10 minute ride. There are great places to take a walk and hike right outside the door. While the multiple levels and stairs would likely be challenging for visitors with mobility issues, the spaciousness and privacy of having a whole semi-detached home to ourselves made this a great choice. Overall, we felt it was a great choice at a very reasonable price for the area, the finishes and the views!
