The first time we visited McCall, back in the early 2000s, I knew it was special. There was just something about the calm, the beauty, and the slower pace that made it feel like home, even though we were just visiting.
After years of coming up for family vacations and long weekends, we started dreaming about having a place of our own here. That dream finally came true when we found a lot we loved and decided to design and build the cabin ourselves. It was a huge project, but also a really meaningful one. Every part of it has our heart in it.
When I’m not hosting, I love being outside, baking something nostalgic, and working on creative projects. Hosting has become such a fun and fulfilling part of my life. I truly enjoy getting to share our home and a place we love so much.
I hope you feel the same sense of peace and joy here that we’ve felt for years.
