Welcome to this treasured cottage in Southport referred by the locals as "The Treehouse." Built in 1949 this unique property features 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor 1 queen bed in one room and 1 full size in the other. 2nd floor full bath offers a shower and 3rd floor bath a quaint claw foot tub./ no shower. Kitchen and Livingroom on 1st level. The peaceful atmosphere of this magical home is perfect for those looking to be in walking distance to charming downtown Southport and those folks who appreciate history (as this home was built with the bricks from an old lighthouse). You will also enjoy the fresh air on the gated brick patio with a magnificent live oak providing shade coverage and also a sunny spot to soak in the sun. On the patio you will have the opportunity to marvel at the ibis flying over the Carolina blue skies on their way to Battery Island.
