There's no place quite like Barrier Dunes! This peaceful gated community offers everything your family needs to make their vacation memorable. Play tennis, swim in one of two pools, one of which looks out onto the beach. Maybe you would like to go down to one of the fish filled ponds to fish. Boardwalks lead you out to the beautiful beach on the Gulf of Mexico.  Barrier Dunes is also adjacent to the St Joseph Peninsula State Park and is at the Northernmost tip of The Cape, home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and breathtaking sunsets.  Enjoy the views and the very short walk to the beach in this 2 bedroom unit that also includes a bonus, top floor sleeping loft.

Floor Plan: Ground level-covered, paved parking and foyer. 1st level – Living Room with sleeper sofa, TV, DVD/VCR player, iPod dock and furnished deck; kitchen, dining area and half bath.  2nd level – Bedroom 1 – king bed, TV, DVD/VCR, full bath with shower only and a gulf view deck; laundry closet and Bedroom 2 – 1 queen bed, full bath with shower/tub combo and small gulf view deck.  3rd level – bonus sleeping loft with 3 twin beds and half bath.

We have actually booked this unit more than once

We love this unit! The separated twins in loft is a bonus considering my boys won’t sleep in a bed together. The view and sunsets from back balcony are Beautiful. The master TV needs to be updated to play Netflix and cling etc It will play a show but pause every (5) seconds

Family get away

First time staying in port st. Joe. Loved the beach its perfect, its not crowded , easy and a few steps from bech not a long walk. Only reason why it didnt get a high rating is because we found a lot of hairs all over the place. They were in the sheets, blankets, bathrooms, sofa, even kitchen.

The property was clean and covenant. Just steps away from the most beautiful beach in Florida ;-) The community still has some homes that are under reconstruction but we thought it would be much worse, given the strength of the hurricane .
