The space was perfect for our family - we had plenty of room to spread out. It was great to be right on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boating and fishing off the deck. Quick five minutes into town for things we needed. It felt private and secluded.
Tony and Tonya were amazing hosts! They responded quickly, which was especially appreciated since this was a special celebration for my brother’s birthday. The house was spotless and incredibly spacious—it’s essentially two units, each with its own kitchen and plenty of living space, which worked out perfectly for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, soaking in the gorgeous nature views, watching the kids build sandcastles, grilling outdoors, and ending our nights by the bonfire. Truly a wonderful experience—I highly recommend this beautiful home!

We had a smooth check in, and our big group had a very nice stay. the location of the place is Beautiful. The place had enough room for all of us, the kids really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. However the place needs a deep clean there is a lot of dust and spider webs in the fans and light fixtures. Also if you stay here make sure you take your own toilet paper and napkins, there was only two rolls for both bathrooms. There is no extra blankets for the sofa bed. There is no wifi you have to use your hot spot to try to watch tv which the service is not very good out there. We also had a power outage in the middle of the night so the next day some of the outlets didn’t work try to reach out to the host and didn’t get answer, we were also trying to ask about the trash because, it barely fit on the blue bin by the grassy area.

Issues we experienced during our stay:No air conditioning upon arrival as stated in listing.Power to entire house started going out after window AC units were put in & continued to randomly go out during our stay.It wasn’t just the AC units causing this as the last time it went out, only ceiling fans & coffee maker were being used. When we had to reset the breaker, we noticed it was hot.Extreme lack of communication from property manager/owner, even when VRBO called, when critical issues were occurring.Master bathroom (left shower head), hot/cold seem to be switched. When fully open to left, water runs cold: when just open, water is hot. Opposite of the shower head on the right, giving the impression of an issue with hot water.Section of dock, broken & unsafe.Upon arrival, house had an odor: stale & almost like a wet dog.Propane tank for gas grill was empty.Lack of towels & wash cloths for the number of people the house sleeps, leaving group to do laundry daily.Lack of kitchen staples such as can opener, mixing bowls, cookie sheets, pots/pans, cooking & grilling utensils, plates, mugs & cups, & flatware, considering the number of people the house sleeps again creating the need for constant dish washing multiple times a day.Did ask for some kind of refund from property owner with all the issues we had but have heard nothing from him since we gave him suggestions on how to improve his property.
