We need to visit this area several times a year. It's close to Cooperstown an easy drive along the lake with a price that is reasonable. Rooms are recently renovated and well maintained. Staff and owners are easy to communicate with. The information needed for check in, stay and departure were easily laid out. If you need a place to stay while having business to do in the Cooperstown area, I highly recommend KC's and best of all your pet is welcome.

Last year, sisters Sydney and Zoe took over KC’s Corner with a shared goal: to preserve what’s always made this place special, while adding a little more love, comfort, and intention along the way. As sisters, they’ve always loved creating spaces that feel like home, and KC’s Corner is no exception. As hands-on owners, they’re proud to be part of the Springfield community and are committed to keeping the stay feeling personal, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for.

Why they chose this property

Nestled on the edge of Otsego Lake, Cooperstown is a small town packed with big charm. Of course, it’s home to the iconic National Baseball Hall of Fame... a must-see for sports lovers of all ages. But Cooperstown offers so much more than stats and home runs.

Spend your mornings strolling the lakefront, exploring boutique shops, or visiting the world-class Fenimore Art Museum. Take a peaceful boat ride, grab homemade fudge on Main Street, or step back in time at The Farmers’ Museum, one of the oldest living history museums in the country. In the fall, the leaves put on a show you won’t want to miss, and in the summer, the Glimmerglass Opera House draws talent and music lovers from all over the country.

Whether you’re here for nostalgia, nature, culture, or a little of everything. Cooperstown makes it easy to slow down, soak it all in, and feel like you're part of something timeless.

And the best part? Our motel is just 15 minutes away from it all. Quiet, cozy, and close to the action we make your stay in Cooperstown as memorable as the town itself.

What makes this property unique

At KC’s Corner Motel, you’re more than just a guest…you’re part of the family. We’re a family-run motel, born from a love of hospitality and small-town charm. That means every detail, from the freshly made beds to the 5-star service, is done with care and heart.

We’re not a chain and that’s the beauty of it. Our renovated, cozy, no-frills rooms offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, just minutes from Cooperstown’s top attractions. Whether you’re here for the Baseball Hall of Fame, a lakeside wedding, or leaf-peeping season, KC’s Corner is your easy, affordable home base.

Freshly renovated in 2026, we’re proud to be one of the only renovated stays in the area - bringing a clean, refreshed feel to a classic roadside experience.
