Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking. Many of the gated condo complexes are completely smoke free (including e cigarettes) within the entire gated complex.
Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: Parking for one car in the garage. Additional car is on a first come, first serve basis in any unmarked/visitor parking spots. Maximum two cars allowed. Must have parking pass on dashboard throughout your stay. Parking Passes provided upon arrival. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.
Swimming Pool: Yes onsite at Halii Kai

Halii Kai 8A is located in Building 8 at Halii Kai. There are stairs to the entrance of this condo. This vacation home is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation!

Halii Kai is a gated condominium community in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The Waikoloa Queens Marketplace Shops, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops are a half mile away and are great for shopping and excellent dining. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a few minutes’ drive from Halii Kai.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

Everything about this condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well-stocked with kitchenware and the starter basics, and boasted a convenient location. The check-in process was seamless and the host was very quick to respond when an issue with the AC cropped up. I would definitely book this property again.

Although we have been to Hali’i Kai before, this was our first time in this particular unit. Check-in was a breeze, with access information provided well in advance. Instructions were accurate and clear. The unit was clean and nicely decorated. The location was an easy walk to the resort amenities and it was nice to have the resort fee calculated into the nightly price, so no additional charge was required at check in. Beautiful views from the lanai - incredible sunsets! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Although we didn’t use it, it was nice to have a grill on the lanai. I would definitely stay at this unit again as it was perfect for two couples. We stopped at the management office for our free gifts and chatted with the property manager and pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed. Would recommend this unit without hesitation.

A beautiful unit. We have stayed in a few units at Hali 'i Kai and have really never been disappointed. This unit is exactly as described with a beautiful ocean view. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. Check in was perfect. This complex is our favorite in Waikoloa. A big plus is the pool area which has a restaurant and bar. The old chef is back and the food is great. I can safely say there are no other condo complexes in Waikoloa Beach that have a full service bar and restaurant. One suggested improvement would be to replace the mattress in the primary bedroom. Not very good. The other issue is the A/C in the second bedroom. As with the other two bedrooms in the complex at which we have stayed, there is plenty of A/C in all rooms except the second bedrooms. Just doesn't blow very strong. The ceiling fan helps but it could better. Our friend who was in that bedroom said she was fine with the fan up high. Probably a design issue but that said WE'D STAY IN THIS UNIT AGAIN ANY TIME.Almost forgot, plenty of beach gear and even a couple bikes in the garage. Wish I had time to use it.
