Family-Friendly Coastal Retreat with Easy Beach Access

Just a short stroll from one of Texas's most serene beaches, this home is located within a secure, gated community. It’s the perfect place for families looking to relax and enjoy all the comforts of home.

The home accommodates up to 6 guests, with a King-sized bed and two Queen-sized beds in the additional bedrooms. The master suite features a private bathroom and a walk-in closet, while the two Queen rooms share a full bathroom.

The home has enough space for the whole family as well as for your furry mid-size friend (a Dog crate is provided for mid-size dogs up to approximately 30 lbs).

Every bedroom and living room is equipped with a smart TV for your favorite streaming channels.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, bake, or make your favorite desserts.

We provide a good amount of Keurig Coffee pods for several days, as well as everything else you need to get comfortable and relaxed.

This property was fabulous. The hosts had everything you could imagine to make our stay wonderful and were very responsive if contacted. The house is beautifully appointed and the beds were very comfortable. This house has a short walk across the dunes to the beach. There is even a fish cleaning station outside. We will definitely be back. Matagorda has beautiful beaches with lots of shells and you can drive on the beach (if you have 4-wheel drive). If you have a little one or a pet they have all you need for them too. Great house, great location! Go Gorda!

This house was perfect. It was very clean inside and outside. Kitchen was stocked with pans and all the things needed. Extra paper towels and plenty of trash bags. Bedrooms were clean and spacious and had ceiling fans in each room. It had extra towels and beach towels. The owners were very prompt on communication and check in and out was very simple. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at The Lazy Coconut was fantastic! The property was exactly as described and pictured. The owners thought of everything, down to the smallest detail, to make our stay comfortable. The house was pristine clean and very well maintained. Bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are well laid out, and the closets are spacious with plenty of hangers. The floor plan is an open concept and is perfect for families. The decor is nicely done and perfect for a bay house. The wrap around deck has great views from every direction, plenty of furniture, and has a retractable gate for little ones or small pets. The driveway and under house areas are spacious and easy to park a boat and multiple vehicles. Beach access is close and the beach is beautiful and clean. The outside shower is great for rinsing off and cleaning beach gear. A lot of thought went in to making this house comfortable for guests. Definitely one of our favorite VRBOs we’ve stayed in and we’ll most certainly be back for another stay.

This was one of the best vacation rentals we have rented in a long time. Very modern, smart home, spotlessly clean, easy check in and out. Kitchen had everything including plenty of coffee, spices, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful showers. We highly recommend it for anywhere from two to six people.

Such a great stay. The house was spotless and really well set up—simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. The bed and linens felt like a 5-star hotel, which we loved. Easy walk to the beach made everything feel relaxed and easy. Would definitely come back.
