About this property

Off-Grid Dome Hideaway in the Woods

🌿 Secret Garden Geo Dome Retreat | Peaceful Forest Escape 🌌

Step into stillness, restore your energy, and reconnect with yourself at this modern, semi-off-grid geodesic dome tucked deep in the tranquil woodlands of our 16-acre homestead—The Secret Garden at Beloved Cabin.

Designed as both a hideaway and a creative sanctuary, this dome is perfect for yoga, meditation, journaling, stargazing, or simply unplugging from the rush of everyday life. Just minutes from the calm waters of Lake Oconee (note: no direct access), it offers the perfect balance of comfort, charm, and rustic simplicity.

🛏️ The Space
Inside your private 20’ dome, you’ll find:

A cozy antique queen-size bed with fresh linens and towels

Air conditioning for warm summer days

Propane cooktop, cooler (no fridge), and basic cookware

Small kitchenette with a water container and basin (refills provided)

A luxury camping toilet for convenience

✨ Outside the Dome

Private fire pit with seating under the stars (BYO firewood or purchase onsite when available)

A forest clearing ideal for yoga, meditation, or quiet reflection

Outdoor shower coming soon! Until then, enjoy a hot shower and flush toilet at the nearby community house

📵 Digital Detox
There’s no WiFi in the dome, and cell service is limited (AT&T works best). This is your time to slow down, breathe, and embrace the rhythm of nature.

🌲 The Property
The dome sits in the secluded Secret Garden section of our 16-acre Beloved Cabin Homestead. Wander woodland trails, relax by a peaceful creek, or simply enjoy the stillness of the forest.

Guests also have access to the shared community house, which includes:

A full kitchen with modern appliances

Hot shower and flush toilet

Laundry facilities (for longer stays)

Cozy lounge and dining area

🚶‍♀️ Please Note: Vehicles are not permitted beyond the red gate. It’s a short 2–3 minute walk from the parking area to your dome—pack light and wear comfy shoes.

🧘‍♀️ Perfect For:

Couples seeking a romantic forest escape

Solo travelers craving peace and privacy

Yoga, meditation, or wellness retreats

Writers, artists, and creatives looking for inspiration

Anyone ready for a digital detox in nature
